Positives : Good size room with lovely view, quiet, pretty garden, well maintained, good food, especially the Wave restaurant. Not quite a 5 star hotel, but ok. The staff helppat the front desk far from 5 star standard, more reminiscent of a second rate guest house We’ve booked a boat trip on the other side of the island through the concierge(Jimmy) thinking that even though taxi was far more expensive, at least it would be turn up on time. Wrong! Taxi was 30 minutes late, it took a lot of discussions, a phone call to find the taxi. Later the driver told us that he waited outside! Surely it should have occurred to him to come to reception to find us! The taxi was not the very clean and driver was very bad : he was very slow, constantly drifted over the middle line, occasionally having to swerve to miss oncoming vehicles, even managed to get lost . The boat trip was not exactly what we were told either, I would not recommend it. We also made the mistake of agreeing to hire a car through the concierge (same one, Jimmy). It was a bit pricey, but we were told that we’ll have a brand new car and no card transaction fees. On the morning of our departure we were brought a 2019 plate Kia picanto, dirty and covered in scratches. As we were leaving the hotel we eventually no choice but to accept the car. Someone was supposed to meat us at the airport to collect the car 5 days later, and, of course, they didn’t! When we called them from airport they argued that we were a day early!
