Wonderful Anniversary Stay at Movenpick!

We had a fantastic stay at Movenpick celebrating our anniversary. The room service food was excellent, as was the dinner we had at the Panorama Restaurant. The staff is super sweet and the grounds/hotel are beautiful. Excellent breakfast as well.

First you would say “ooo Mövenpick - Accor group” but reality is something else. Very old hotel , looks like a hotel from 1980. Old furniture, old flooring, carpets I haven’t seen in hotel for a long time these days, bathroom don’t wanna even mention.

Great place overlooking the Nile. Good buffet breakfast. Pool closes at sunset. Try to get a room on the back (quiet) side of the island. You can watch the sun set and listen to the frogs.

Loved taking a small boat to Elephantine island. Beautiful grounds to stroll and restaurant in the tower had stunning views of the water and night life happening on the other side.
