The employees are very helpful and positive. They are a stellar team! Unfortunately, this does not make up for the state of the hotel. I was disappointed when I got to my room, to find the sink clogged, several lights in the bathroom out, and the door lock not working properly. Of course, this made me anxious as a solo female traveler. I reported this and they did take care of the issues in decent amount of time. However, there was a large dog beneath my room barking for about 30 minutes straight. I went to the front desk to tell them and they moved my room for me to a quieter one, which was much appreciated. Overall though, the carpets are caked with strange stains, the bathrooms and old and there is mold growing on the ceilings, and the doors are so heavy that they slam when they shut, and the can easily hear this from the other guests. The elevator was also out during my stay, which poses a problem if you have heavy luggage or are disabled. I would not recommend if you would like to feel clean and safe. It’s unfortunate because the service was so great.
