I had very high hopes of having a good time in Cabo because I had a great times in Cancun, Punta Cana and similar places. I and my wife went there for 4 days. The first night we reached there at 11:30pm. We were very hungry as our flight was much delayed. When we went into the room... jeeze! first thing that came to my mind was "is this a 5-star hotel???". The room was fairly big. Furnitures were awful/broken. Curtains were torn/stitched. Sofa was like bought in from a second hand market. Anyway, we called for room service. All they had was sandwich and nachos. REALLY??? Ate it reluctantly as there was no other choice. OK, it was time to sleep. I called to get an extra pillow. Half an hour passed and no one came, so I called again. Some one came after another 20 minutes with two sofa cushions and said they don't have extra pillows. WHAAAAT!!! 5-star hotel and they don't have extra pillows??? That was our first night experience/impression. Very bad.
Next day we called for breakfast and ordered continental b/f with fruits and hot tea. They bring 4 toast, 2 butter, 2 small pieces of pineapple, two small pieces of cantaloupe and some hot water. THAT'S IT for continental b/f. I had to call again for tea bags.
They say they have 7 restaurants. We tried all of them. Except for the buffet place, other restaurants were pathetic. We couldn't eat one bite in the Bombay restaurant, not one bite in the Japanese restaurant. Food was served COLD. Preparation was as if it was made 2 days a
