Terrible

From the moment we walked into the room it was a shock. The room was more like a cupboard. We had a tv on the wall but no remote control, we went back to reception to be told that the tv did not work. The mattress on the bed, most of the springs had gone so we ended up rolling into the middle. The duvet was a single on a double bed which meant every time one of us turned the cover come off. The blind above the bed was broken meaning we was woken by the sun at around 5am . The shower was boiling hot water with us unable to turn the temperature down so ended up nearly scolding ourselves, which in turn meant we could not have a shower. The hairdryer that was attached to the wall had wires exposed, and the coffee table they provided was very unstable. There are a few more issues but these were main concerns

Disappointing Stay – Wouldn’t Recommend

I do not recommend this hotel. The room was dusty and poorly maintained—carpets and walls were dirty, the shower was badly installed, bathroom pipes were clogged, and shelves were insecurely mounted. The beds were unstable, and the second single bed was especially uncomfortable—you could feel the metal frame right through the mattress. Linens were uncomfortable and didn’t even fit the double bed. The mattress and pillows were stained, and the blankets looked like they were taken from a child’s room. When I asked for a broom, staff told me to use bathroom towels—this reflects the level of service. The staff was unfriendly, and I was shocked by how expensive the stay was given the poor quality. The only good thing I can say is that they had free Wi-Fi, which honestly surprised me considering everything else. Definitely not worth it.

Extremely Unsafe and Poorly Managed – Avoid

I stayed here recently and encountered serious safety and management issues. A light fitting was hanging dangerously off the wall. The bathroom door handle was falling off. In another room, the main door wouldn't lock properly, leading onto a balcony with a very low railing – extremely dangerous, especially for children. The shower head was broken off the wall. The owner refused to provide a receipt, demanded cash payment, and when I photographed handing over the cash (for my records), he insisted the photo be deleted – clearly not wanting any evidence. During my stay, I was also asked to check out of one room and into another, which was inconvenient. I had to leave my bags temporarily in a third room. This review is based on seeing three different rooms, all with serious problems. I have reported the dangerous conditions to the local council. For your own safety and peace of mind, I strongly advise avoiding this hotel.

On sait en réservant que l’on n'est pas dans un palace. Mais la moindre des choses est de respecter le descriptif, ce n'est pas le cas pour cet hôtel. Tout a très mal commencé puisqu’aucune chambre n’était libre alors que nous avions réservé et payé 2 mois plus tôt. Nous nous sommes retrouvés à aller au « 9 Telford Terrace » en portant nos sacs, guidé par le réceptionniste. 15mn pour rejoindre cette chambre qui ressemblait à une collocation pour travailleurs étrangers. Notre chambre ressemblait à un appartement constitué d’une entrée qui ne fermait pas, d’une salle de bain fermant de l’intérieur et de la chambre elle-même qui fermait à clef. Aucun équipement ne nous à été fourni, pas même les serviettes de toilette. Dans la nuit quelqu’un est venu prendre une douche dans la douche de notre chambre !! Tout était très sale. Le lendemain, nous avons dû retrouver seul le chemin et repartir avec nos sacs pour récupérer notre vraie chambre. Nous avons dû attendre qu’une chambre se libère pour avoir la nôtre, ce qui montre que cet hôtel pratique le surbooking. Résultat, nous n’avons eu notre chambre que le dimanche 11h au lieu du samedi. Un mail a été fait à l'hôtel demandant d’appliquer un demi-tarif pour cette nuit pourrie. Aucune réponse. Ensuite notre vraie chambre ne correspond pas au descriptif. La TV prévue ne fonctionne pas. 2 nettoyages durant notre semaine au lieu d'être journalier. Le lit est infect, draps et couettes trop petits Toujours en attente d'un dédommagement

Confidently located, place to lay your head

My son and I were doing a UK and Spain football trip and chose this for the location and price. This was confidently located between Arsenal and Chelsea stadiums and also close to Big Ben, London Bridge and Buchanan Palace. We had a busy schedule and had no plans to hang out in the room, just needed a place to lay our heads. However the beds weren’t the best, TV didn’t work and the shower was the size of an RV. But for $50/night, wasn’t expecting too much.

Mid-quality hotel

Hotel was okay. Not much to scream and shout about, good value for money. Did have an issue on the last night where we got back to the hotel and one of our bags was just out in the hall for no reason. We had left it all in our room, when we asked at reception all he said was that it was already there when he started shift. The bag was left wide open with a pair of AirPod Max on show so luckily didn’t get stolen, but there was still a risk, and it was quite frustrating that they couldn’t give us an answer as to why it was moved out of our room.

La habitación muy pequeña pero para solo dormir está genial, la ducha no funcionaba y nos prestaron otra habitación para ducharnos. En general trato muy bueno y ubicación increíble.

PLUS JAMAIS !!! Très sale, aucune sécurité, aucune isolation thermique ni sonore, pas de chauffage, aucun équipement (pas de poignée de porte de salle de bain, pas de télécommande pour la TV, radiateur qui ne fonctionne pas...). Propreté inexistante (portes collantes, matelas et draps à traîner dans les couloirs, médicaments par terre, multitude de taches au mur...) Pas de fenêtre (seulement une vitre au plafond dans un état lamentable). Personnel très peu aimable, non disponible. Aucun code wifi donné, accueil à déplorer. Aussi décevant que lamentable. Seule la localisation est intéressante. Hôtel à fuir, réellement, une honte.

Disgusting. Not a single thing in the room wasn’t stained. Kettle had floating lumps in.

Corbigoe Hotel worst place to stay

This is the worst place I have ever stayed. Their advert is deceptive. Rooms are dirty. You share bathrooms. We got one towel each for 3 days. No soap. Fridge does not work. Bed sheets are not changed or extras avalable to change. I saw cockroaces. Bed had bed bugs. Hotels.com should delete from its website to prevent others going through this experirnce.
