Great location. Great for ski trip if you have a car, rather than spending a lot in accomodations in zao onsen ski area, it's an option to stay in Yamagata and enjoy dinner in the city with lots of choices available.

Nice hotel with decent size rooms especially for japanese standard. Clean and silent, and nice big shower with small tub and rain shower. Very close to the train station and buses to Zao Onsen f.x. Many nice restaurants at walking distance. Breakfast not too impressive but still OK. Nice coffee.

An extremely nice cozy hotel located close to the railway station. The rooms were relatively roomy with clean beds and sizable space for toilet, shower and bathtub. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel interior is well designed and built with attention on little details. Serve very good Japanese breakfast.
