Nos hicieron irnos del hotel habiendo pasado la 3a de 12 noches ahí porque la compañía dueña del inmueble quebró y Marriott no hizo nada por cambiarnos a otro de sus hoteles.

We enjoy our stay, but the room had several deficiencies: it was small; the lighting was poor (hard for reading); no phone, no pen and paper; no fridge; no rug; and the print on the evacuation plan on the door was so small one couldn't read it, But great location; very nice free coffee in reception and very helpful people at the reception; all quite new making disappointing the owner didn't add the minimum expectations of a Marriott hotel.

There was mold present and pulled up sheets and mattress toppers which made sleeping uncomfortable. They provided a €100 code for a next stay and are now closed…

It was OK, but much smaller and older than in the pictures. Also the setting toilet/bathroom is a little bit uncomfortable.

Great location, spacious and clean room. Lovey lobby. The only downsides were that in our room there were some parts of the wooden flooring that were chipped and I caught my foot a couple of times so had to be careful where we walked. The hotel tries to be eco friendly by not over providing toiletries, so if you need more toilet rolls, towels etc. you need to go to reception and pick up more yourself from a cupboard. I understand what they are trying to do, but when we ran out of toilet roll, it was really awkward having to walk to reception to pick up more and then walk back through the lobby with the toilet rolls in your hands. It wasn’t a big deal but it was something I didn’t think we’d need to worry about!

The room was extremely small, in a terrible condition. The power sockets came out the wall, the walls are dirty and damaged. This hotel is an imposition.

Traditional Amsterdam building with lots of charm.

This is a traditional terraced Amsterdam building, so it's not as wide open as a purpose built hotel. That just gives it charm. The location is fantastic for exploring Amsterdam.

Top locatie naast het Vondelpark. De kamers waren netjes en in goede staat maar niet ruim. De bedden waren niet heel comfortabel, een zacht matras wat mijn rug niet fijn vindt. De airco in de kamer maakte elke 20 minuten een storend geluid waardoor ik regelmatig wakker werd ‘s nachts (ik ben normaal een vaste slaper). Er wordt geen ontbijt aangeboden en er was ook geen bar. Maar in de buurt zijn er genoeg tentjes voor eten en drinken.

Great location, beautiful building. The room was small but cozy, the bed and pillows were soft and very comfortable. The staff were helpful, but I wished they were more knowledgeable about transportation to and from the airport. I had to leave on the day of the annual Marathon and the staff didn’t know anything about it.

The check in with 4pm which I found to be late. The room was in the basement and next the service room and elevator operating room. The inside of the room had visible water damage and smelled very moldy and musty. I understand it's an old building but for that high rate I expect more.

(Read All) The people at the reception were extra nice! Amazing people. They saw that we had a total of 4 suitcases and right away said, sorry your stuff is not going to fit in the room. I was surprised! They showed me the booked room and believe me it had 2 beds - smaller than a twin bed and space just enough such that only one person can stand in between them. That was wall to wall - bed - space - bed. At the entrance there was the other end of the bed. To the right a small bathroom. This is a scam!! The pic you see for the two beds is not what they give you. Finally, the super nice people at the front desk gave me a room but clearly told me that it is not in the best location and they were sorry. This one was bigger and OK. It is rarely about the people at the front desk. It is the management. Why would they even advertise these rooms!!

Nice area and close to mainsatractions. Helpfull staff. The bed was good. The room was not clean - a lot of dust in the corners and the bathrom Walls were dirty and hair in the bathtub and floor - we got a cleaning the day after arrival - so it became a little better. Except for the cleaning it was ok to the Price.
