The rooms are huge suites and pretty nice and functional (though a little dated). HOWEVER, their wifi is basically unusable. So slow that we had to use the hotspot on our phones, and we ran out of high-speed hot spot data on our phone plans. That is unacceptable and for that alone we will never, ever stay at your hotel again, and if you need decent wifi, you’d be crazy to stay here.
To boot, after waiting for over 1 hour in line to check in, they said their system was down and that I had to check in online. They said there was no other way to check in. They said they had emailed me the check-in link, but I didn’t receive the email. They tried sending it about 5 times over the next 30 minutes. At that point, I gave up and called Hotels.com to ask them to move us to another hotel, and Hotels.com called the Tuscany and after a long time they realized that their front desk people had a typo in the email address that I had just given them. It took me almost 2 hours to finally check in, which is unacceptable. Overall, a very disappointing stay.
