We chose Pueblo Bonita Rose resort because it is listed as a 4+ star all-inclusive resort, but unfortunately, our experience fell far short of those expectations. We reserved what was described as a luxury suite. Instead, we found a dark, outdated room with old, stained furniture. The bathroom and kitchen sink had visible mold, and the entire suite carried a strong mold odor, making it an unpleasant environment throughout our stay. This was not at all the standard of comfort and cleanliness one would expect from a resort of your rating. Additionally, while your listing promotes the resort as “all-inclusive,” we were surprised and frustrated to encounter surcharges at two of the four on-site restaurants—ironically, the only ones offering quality food. The overall food at the other restaurants was mediocre at best, again falling short of the standards we anticipated. On top of this, the onsite store engaged in what felt like blatant price gouging. Charging nearly $50 for a basic necessity such as sunscreen is unreasonable and leaves us feeling taken advantage of, especially in a resort destination where such items are essential. The one positive aspect of our stay was the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. They did their best to provide good service, despite the disappointing conditions of the accommodations and food.

This hotel is very dated. The food options were not so great. The restaurants with better meal options cost extra at a minimum of $50. Ordering room service seemed to be a lot better. The beds are comfortable. No night life or fun evening events for guests.

We were there during hurricane jessica. Arrived Tuesday. Only 2 restaurants open, the buffet and one serving on pool menu food. Pool clearly closed. Hotel did zero to make things better. I saw other hotels hosting cocktail making classes, bingo, towel folder, poker. They did zero. We left after a day and the hotel refused to issue any credit for a future stay and charged for 5 nights and we stayed 1.

HOTELS.com versus The Hotel, Beware of booking

This review is a tale of two experiences. First, my BEEf with HOTELS.com and why I usually don't book through this app!! Birthday weekend, and got scammed out of $517 because HOTELS.com would not add an Adult to the hotels all-inclusive package. Please make sure that you select 2 Adults before you book this property. I was in a rush, last minute trip, and made my booking while actually sitting on the airplane. The difference in adding an Adult, $70 on the app, $517 on property, STRAIGHT RIDICULOUS!! But what can you do once the app has your money and you've already flown to your destination. NEVER AGAIN HOTELS.COM, they were no help in coming to an amicable resolution. As for the property, and two hours of hell to begin my birthday weekend between HOTELS,com and the front desk, was ALL GOOD!! Outside of that shady business at the front desk, the Service was excellent around the property. Definitely felt pampered by the staff throughout our stay. The private beach is on a beautiful location of the Sea of Cortez, I'm still hearing the waves now. You also have several Sister properties that you have access to and we enjoyed the Steak House at Quivira. We decided to rent a car out of San Jose because we didn't want to be subject to hotel shuttles and the freedom to move around on our schedule (had been to Cabo before). So yes, to recommending the property, just not sure if I would return. The intro left a bad taste in my mouth, felt like a hustle, not cool at all!!

Everything was great including staff at restaurants, pool and beach. The only flaw was the woman that checked us in and I am sorry I don't have her name. She didn't thoroughly explain the app and set it up under the wrong name so we couldn't log in. We felt rushed away and had to return for another woman's assistance in correcting it. We requested a king bed twice and she never sent anyone to put the beds together. Another day i tried to ask her questions about the shuttle and she just kept saying for me to check the app. We had a great time and would return. The area is beautiful.

Buenas tardes. Dificil esta evaluacion. Primero, fue un precio bastante atractivo por lo que nuestras expectativas eran bajas, es un complejo viejo, sin embargo puedes gratiutamente viajar a los otros hoteles de la cadena. Gym esta genial. Nos toco un huracan. El personal del hotel bien capacitado para responder, inmediatamente quitaron camastros por lo que para alberca tenias que estar en el piso y todos los restaurantes los cerraron a exepcion del buffete. Cerraron desde el martes al viernes, auque el huracan solo fue el martes en la noche. Adicional a esto. En las habitaciones un dia no hubo servicio al cuarto, las sabanas olian demasiado mal y habia cucarachas en los banos. El mar estubo cerrado todo el tiempo. La comida muy buena. Diria en relacion al precio, la situacion del huracan, no esta tan mal despues de todo. Definitivamente buscaria un diferente hotel para mi sigueinte estancia. Muy mesclado de gente porcierte

Great resort! Traveled with a group of friends, I will say it is more geared towards family but we still had a blast. The sister resort right next door was so convenient to switch up the food options as well. All together we had a great time and the staff were amazing!!!

As a travel blogger I get asked to try different hotels. I have been going to Cabo for 30 years and it had been a while so I was asked to stay at the PB chain. We arrived at the Rose to a musty, dirty room with winter blankets that had cigarette burns. After taking to a manager we were moved to the Los Blancos. While the beach and room view beautiful, the hotel is just warn down and lacking in coordination, communication and amenities most hotels have. Even the breakfast buffet which is usually good at every hotel was bad. No bread, or toaster, cold eggs, flies on the food. Hours of being open didn’t match the daily event planner. We dined at the Rose the night it rained. Anna and staff were amazing getting us a table but most of the staff (excluding pool waiters) were pretty rude. While moving a chair because all the cushions were worn and had holes, a security guard screamed at me, causing the chair to fall entirely on my leg. I had a welt the size of an orange that is now my entire shin injured and bruised. I could go on and on but I don’t want to be too harsh. I would NOT recommend this hotel ! 30 years of visiting Cabo, this was by far my worst experience

No era lo que esperaba en cuanto a la habitación, las cortinas estaban rotas, el primer día el restaurante estaba muy sucio. Lo que si nos gustó fue cenar en Cilantros, y los demás días decidimos ir mejor a pueblo bonito sunset. En Rosé el room service puede mejorar la calidad de los alimentos, y teníamos que recordar que nos hiciera limpieza de la habitación. El aire hacia mucho ruido, pero en general lindo. Al llegar nos querían cobrar y ya estaba pagada la estancia....

This resort has definitely seen better days. The property is over 25 years old, and it shows — the air conditioning is extremely noisy to the point of making it hard to sleep, the pool tiles are in poor condition, and the buffet is very limited. On top of that, there is always at least one à la carte restaurant closed for maintenance, which reduces the dining options and often leaves no choice but to go over to Pueblo Bonito Sunset for a better meal. That said, the location is excellent: it sits on one of the few truly swimmable beaches in Cabo and is within walking distance to the marina and downtown. The staff also deserve credit — they do their best to provide good service despite the limitations of the property.
