Had to stay for one night due to flights being cancelled and former resort not having accommodations. They had only one resistant open- the buffet. It was $45 per person and they had only seven types of foods, plus empty salad bar. They had NOTHING else available and still charged full price. Even staff who were not allowed to adjust our bill was surprised at the cost. Speaking with the manager at the restaurant was unhelpful and he was very rude and short. Aside from the food issue and rude staff, the room was clean and pools and views were beautiful. Disappointed because I would have liked to stay here again given how nice and clean rooms are but will pass due to the issues we had.

The place is nice but the staff are very nasty they don’t smile , the food is terrible ! For a check out we waiting for help with the suitcase and they never show off!

Great Stay for Anniversary Trip

I loved The beach at Divi. Even went to Maho and did not like the rocks in the water … Divis beach was calm water with soft but very soft sand. There was plenty to do and eat. Gizmo the parrot was definitely the best unexpected guest that made the stay even more memorable. I chose The room next to the infinity pool and conveniently across Seabreeze. I would Definitely stay here again on another visit to the island.

We booked a BEACH FRONT room as we always do when traveling to the Caribbean, but when we got there they told us they were under renovation. They said they UPGRADED us to their Oceans, which was not an upgrade. The room may have been newer, but it was FAR away from the beach and up on the 3rd floor. Our room view was not ideal either as we looked down at the resort roofs. Very unhappy with how this was handled. They should have never allowed us to book beach front if they scheduled renovation. Or they should have notified us prior to our trip.

Location was excellent! Snorkeling was fantastic right off the beach. Ft. Amsterdam was beautiful! This place is perfect. I opted for all inclusive. If you’re not drinking it’s not worth the price.

Went for our honeymoon. Had a horrible experience on the way where we were almost kicked out of a taxi for not being able to use PayPal to pay. Our phones were not working, so not the resort’s fault at all. When we did get to the resort, we waited 20 minutes to check in. Everyone was nice, but the resort was dirty and under construction. Limited all inclusive food options. We were there during off season, but there were hardly any activities on the resort. We needed to leave early due to a family emergency, and were unable to get a refund even though we were there for less than 12 hours. Even if we were able to stay, we were not fans.

The only thing I would like to mention is that we booked a room with a kitchen, but it didn’t have an electric pot, a rice cooker, or a pressure cooker. So, since my son eats beans, we were never able to prepare food for him. It’s just common sense that if a room has a kitchen, it should come with all types of pots.

I have to start by saying the beach is beautiful. The location is great not far from the boardwalk / phillipsburg or Simpson bay. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Taxi rides aren’t that bad, $20 to get you to most places. $40 on the high end the farther you go. Great vibes. Only negative I would say is the rooms are a little on the shabby side but take in mind they did get hit hard by the hurricanes and are still fixing stuff to get back to pristine. But overall great trip. Great resort. Great staff. We had a great time. We will be back!!!!

This is my 4th time staying at the Divi and I've never had any issues. However, this time, the Divi ruined my entire vacation. 1. Upon check in - they gave us a king bed room, rather than a double room --so we had to lug our luggage to another room 2. the 2nd room had hair in the bathroom, sink and floors. Just not fully clean. Thankfully I had my lysol spray and wipes 3. our first night - at 2:30am, I woke up hearing mice running in the ceiling. I couldn't sleep anymore because I was terrified they were going to come through the a/c unit 4. I went to complain the following morning and no one offered an apology. The young lady at the desk said they'll see what they can do 5. Nothing happened, so night 2 - I had to wake up for a 5am call and of course there it was again, the running up and down of mice in the ceiling...so terrified because I had rodents 6. I went the next morning to the front desk and again they said they'll see what they can do 7. I'm away from the resort trying to see if I can enjoy my time and they called...someone by the name of Kevin and Alana to tell me that they are moving my room for the 3rd time. Again, no apology, just to tell me that they are moving me Overall, we move to another room, there was a black out twice and no hot water and while my daugther was showering, the water just stopped. All in All...just AWFUL!!!!!!!! Never again will I stay at the hotel

The hotel was not what was advertised. First of all, pictures showed a giant pool when there were three pools, each smaller than the next. Then, it was pathetic an all-inclusive. The breakfast buffet was tiny. There was little to no fruit available at any meal. There was no water in the room. You had to ask for it at the bar. Unlike any other all inclusive where I have stayed any all inclusive benefits ended at breakfast even if you were departing in the afternoon. The bartender at the pool bar was exceptional as was the woman who cleaned my room 330. Some other employees seemed disinterested and did not even make eye contact.

The beach was the highlight especially with most of the other side of the island having sargassum. This side was clean and calm. The food at all of the restaurants definitely could have been better, as well as the drinks, but there was a little market that made it easy to cook and prepare some meals in your room. Taxis to Simpson Bay are expensive and the hotel staff could have been more proactive in giving us information about the area. The front desk ran out of towels twice. Entertainment and music was great.

Checked in room wasn’t ready ok we were 1 hour early understandable.told room was being cleaned. Checked our bags and went for lunch.came back in 2 hours room was done.room was last room up a large hill in the back. 25 minute walk to all restaurants and main office. Got in the room it was disgusting.floor was mopped with a dirty mop and left to dry that way.smelled bad.shower had clumps of dirt clogging drain and ants were all over.called main desk they said ‘well the room was just cleaned’. Asked for another room,at my expense,was told nothing they can do cause we booked with an outside company.after taking a shower with sneakers on we couldn’t take the smell and got a flight home on the 17th we were booked to the 21st.
