Area not for solo female

Did not stay due to guests outside when I arrived (guy with no shirt, guy with 2 big dogs walking in the parking lot). Sketchy location, did not get out of the car but found another place to stay and lost $$ for the stay

Clean, Comfortable, Safe

The stay was absolutely amazing. 5 stars, my wife and I enjoyed a comfortable clean room. Plenty of parking, near our destinations we needed to travel to. Late at night while smoking, felt safe. Breakfast is also included in the morning and access to ice and a gym. I would recommend this place

Never again, but we survived

not a great area, the hotel next door had a guest room window broken out the last day of our stay. didn't have an iron in the room and couldn't get one from the front desk. Our room keys would work for a couple hours and never the next day and then when I finally got back to the room at 1am and my room key didnt work, there was no one at the desk and no number to call, just can't get in your room for the four hours you can sleep before having to get up for the next day. plus a $100 room deposit that they don't tell you about until you're there checking in, that takes 2-3 business days to be refunded. for a room you can't get into half the time, and that is so dirty when you get in there that you dont take your shoes off unless youre in bed, and we considered the shower. There was needle caps shoved in the tub drain that still let some water go down so we didnt touch it.. Overall, never again, but we survived

Horrible Red Roof

You have maybe 5 channels that come in clear. The WiFi is incredibly slow. The room telephone doesn't work. The shower doesnt drain properly, and the shower head is cracked so it sprays from it. It's way to expensive for this kind of quality

I did not the location, had to pay $100 deposit up front, hallway was dirty, no hot water in the sink, no telephone service. TV had to be programmed to work.

I was taking a four day trip down to Columbus, Ohio and booked with the red roof. I was down there with my daughter. We arrived around 10:30 11 o’clock at night. When we first pulled in, I noticed at least four pitbull’s running around the front of the property. There were congregations of people outside, I immediately felt very unsafe. I was in an area far from home, not which way to go or what the best option was decided to go inside and out of fear. I held her the entire time when I asked the gentleman about the dogs running around this is a pet friendly and we do not control what goes on outside of his doors. I told him it was on his property and he seemed shocked, but not very concerned. I decided to check in to regroup and figure out what the best option for my daughter. When I got to the room, it was not clean. The toilet visibly looks like somebody had gotten sick previous and then noticed the inside of our door did not have a bottle lock I would back to the front desk and ask the gentleman if he had a different room that had an internal lock. I proceeded to tell him how unsafe I felt and how extremely scared I was to be staying at this place. His response wasthis is a shady area. There’s no way helped my concern of staying there. I had initially booked through Expedia, so it took me some time to contact a customer service where I explained the conditions and what was happening around me. Stay away

This property should not be in business! Room was nasty, there were drugs being sold and used right out in the open in the parking lot. There was a lady that almost fell out in the parking lot by my room window. She was there all night and still there in the morning. I had to sleep with my window open to watch and make sure the tweakers in the parking lot didn’t touch my property.

I arrived and checked in and was given a room that had not been cleaned and was filthy - piles of dirty towels, feces ok toilet, etc. I asked for a new room and while the room had been cleaned , it was still dirty. The shower was disgusting and there was an open bag of potato chips behind my pillow. I was attending a concert so had no time to get a third room.

Close to highway, so easy to find, however property needs to renovate the bathroom in our room desperately, and the ‘breakfast’ is only coffee and no food. Location in general is a bit seedy.

Disgusting

The place was disgusting. The toilet had no cover over the tank. When you walked in the carpet your socks were black. I will never stay here again

NOT a safe hotel for women

This is not a good property, and is NOT safe. The TV did not work, The room was dirty, including the floor was not mopped / cleaned. I opened the drawer for the nightstand and it was filthy inside - In addition there was a razor blade left in the drawer. The area around the hotel was dangerous - homeless people and others wandering through all day

If i could give a NEGATIVE star rating, theyd get -10. The sewage smell outside was off-putting. Look up when you check in, the vent cover by thw desk is covered in rust. The carpet is expired and needs to be replaced My room had toilet paper stuck in the doors peep hole. There were stains on our sheets, a stain on the bed skirt, a stain on the curtain. The microwave was caked in a black film. There were toe nail clippings on the nightstand. And on the toilet...the outside of the toilet, there was human poop stuck to the bowl. To make matters worse, the night agent REFUSED to accommodate. Then later refused to inspect the room, we wsited until 3AM.

Crumbs in drawers, dust all around room, food behind night stand, had to Jimmy-rig shower to work, 3 channels on tv to watch, safety latch on door was broken and the complimentary breakfast when opened at 730 had 2 muffins to choose from - no bread for toast, bagels, muffins or even fruit. Terrible!!
