Clean, nice location, felt safe. Perfect for a one night stay while visiting UAB hospitals. Very conveniently located near the hospital, 25 minutes which was great for us. Breakfast was good, our son enjoyed the cinnamon rolls, which were a nice surprise. Overall we would stay again in the future.

Everything was great. The only thing is that the hotel needs to install an adjustable shower head holder because if my husband wasn’t with me I would not have been able to reach the shower wand. I am a paramedic needing full time care. The temporary wand holder on the side pole was very dirty - disgusting. Other than that everything was great.

Nice Hotel-Rude Front Desk Agent

The hotel was clean and comfortable. My only complaint is with check-in. After arriving a little early, I went to my business meeting and my husband tried to check in. He was rudely told to come back at 4:00. Otherwise, the breakfast was better than expected, and the rest of the stay was fine.

Bathroom needed help

The only issue I saw was the bathroom. The sink stopped was broken and kept the sink fully shut where the water could not drain. Then when I tried to shower the next morning the shower head was so covered in calcium and limescale deposits that several of the holes were clogged and did not work or sprayed in every direction but the way it should. This cased the floor to be soaked and the floor to be slippery. Please change out the clogged shower head so the guests can enjoy a nice shower. Your walls and doors are a little thin I could hear people in the lobby or dining area at all hours of the night. Otherwise, all of the other accommodations were nice. Room 116

The handicapped shower was not accessible for someone who is unable to stand. It was simply a tub with a whole lot of bars installed on the walls and a shower head that was monal. The sink hight was way too high for anyone in a wheelchair to reach as was the soap dispensers on the wall. The breakfasts were marginal and not to the standard of Holiday Inns unless you want biscuits and gravy. Also the trays of food weren't being kept full and some standard options weren't alway available. Lots of TV channels but most were sales. It would have been nice to know what number the major channels were. It was kept very clean and the staff friendly when spoken to.
