First, this property is undergoing renovations. The rooms have been updated and are very clean and comfortable. They're still working on the elevators and only one is operational. Not a huge issue for me but not exactly welcoming either.
Breakfast was the same plasticky eggs, potatoes, and sausages every day. There were a couple options for fruit and yogurt. The coffee was incredibly weak and the breakfast area itself was a little cramped. I didn't use the bar but it didn't appear to be anything to write home about either.
The biggest problem by far, though, was the noise. I expect thin walls and road noise at an older property but the constant door slamming was a deal breaker. I lost count of the number of times I was jarred awake.
On a positive note, I think the staff at this hotel is excellent. They were all very kind and accommodating. I didn't use the shuttle service so I can't comment on that, but all in all I have nothing but good things to say about the people working there. They left a note under my door reminding me about the change to daylight savings time which I thought was a very professional thing to do.
Honestly, I'm not sure if I'd stay here again. It's probably a fine location to crash for one night but all the little things added up over a few days. It's your typical mid-level hotel (3 stars is pushing it) in an industrial park surrounded by potholes and little else. I'd probably spend a little more and stay elsewhere.
