I had stayed at this hotel twice before and had good experiences, which is why I chose it again. Unfortunately, this time was disappointing.
The bathroom light was broken, and when I informed the front desk, the receptionist said she was alone and there was no maintenance staff available.
The room was for 6 people, with a sofa bed and a trundle bed (the type that rolls out from underneath). When we pulled it out, the carpet underneath was dirty and full of food crumbs. The same happened behind the nightstands—clearly, they only vacuum the visible areas and not under the furniture. Very unpleasant.
Lastly, the air conditioning wasn’t properly calibrated. We had to turn it off because it was freezing the room, but with 6 people in a room and San Antonio heat in June, it quickly became unbearable.
I hope management takes these comments seriously because this hotel used to be a reliable option.
