Reality of a trip

We arrived to find dog poop in two places from two different dogs in the hallway. We returned to the hotel after a concert and found a cockroach awaiting our arrival. We immediately grabbed our things and left and never returned. We spent 15 minutes in that room before and after the concert and left immediately we will never come back to that facility again we will never recommend anyone to stay at that facility. It is a pit. It is a disgusting gross uncapped pit that needs to be condemned and not put on the market. And on top of everything, the elevator stopped working and we had to walk up and down the stairs several times it was a horrible experience. I will never ever stay at that hotel again or stay at that brand of hotel.

Terrible Experience

Was terrible. Had to switch rooms because first room wasn’t clean, second room was no better. I ended up canceling my stay because of how uncomfortable the stay was

Money just gone

Before I came from Detroit, I called and asked if there was a credit card needed to put on file for a deposit. I was told no from the one 800 number I get there and they tell me that I have to have a credit card with $100 deposit. I don’t use credit cards. That’s why I called and asked. I ended up sleeping in my car until my job interview in the morning very disappointed lost my money and these big companies just don’t care what they take.

Don't stay here if you don't have to

The hotel room conditions were deplorable. It smelled awful, its a non smoking hotel but the room reaked of smoke. The TV didn't work. The front desk clerk was great bjt other than that the place waa awful

The room looked like it was in mid repair pictures were not on the wall things on the floor not all vacuumed outlet covers missing the smoke alarm was laying on the table disconnected there was still a bag of garbage in the can with food under the sink but the bed looked brand new and clean

What did I expect?

The property was in disrepair, the floor was not vacuumed, the countertops and windowsills weren’t cleaned. One of the windows was broken and the smoke detector was missing. Our room had no toilet paper and when we asked for some, we were told some would be brought up which never happened. I get it, this is a budget hotel but this was beyond anything I’ve experienced at a hotel.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! I stayed at this hotel for a volleyball tournament with my son who had a broken ankle and was on a kneeling scooter. When I walked into the hotel, the whole place wreaked of smoke (despite several "no smoking" signs). There was something sticky on the floor, the elevator was caked with dirt and the carpets were disgusting!!! The check-in process was disorganized and took FOREVER and the ladies behind the desk were discussing which rooms had been cleaned in front of me. The older lady behind the desk didn't know which rooms were clean and didn't seem to care if we got a clean room or not. They sent us to a room where the bed had clearly been slept in and there were wadded up tissues all over the bed. We went down and asked for a different room. The 2nd room had no pillows and the window wouldn't shut all the way so it was FREEZING! We went back down again. The older lady didn't seem to understand what my problem was with the second room and told us that a 3rd room probably wouldn't have any pillows either. The girl behind the counter was much more helpful. She got us a third room (which was clean) and gave us pillows. At this point it was 11pm and we were exhausted! The whole hotel smelled like smoke the entire weekend, there were kids yelling and running the halls until all hours of the night and I'm pretty sure there was a homeless guy hanging out in the stairwell. The entire hotel experience was awful! I would not recommend this hotel to anyone!!

Mixed Experience for a One-Night Stay

We stayed at this hotel for just one night, and while it had its good points, a few issues stood out. The room was decently clean, which we appreciated, and the shower had plenty of hot water—always a plus after a long day. The desk worker was polite and helpful during check-in, which made a good first impression. The beds weren’t very comfortable but they were clean. Unfortunately, our experience took a turn when we got stuck in the elevator. It was a stressful situation, though it was eventually resolved. Given this issue, we’d hesitate to stay again unless we knew the elevator was in working order. Overall, it was okay for a short stay, but the elevator mishap left us with mixed feelings.

It was okay for just me, not really poor, but a litlte below average. The windows were open when I got to my room and they would not shut all the way. There was 1/2 inch gap where the window didn't shut and they just wouldn't budge to close all the way. The vent in the bathroom was falling down and it exposed dirt, dust, and who knows what else clogging the vent. There were crumbs on the floor and dirt on both of the chairs at the mini-table. The tub was just a little dirty, but it was okay for a shower. The heating unit worked well. It was a little tough to get the remote for the TV to work, as if the batteries were low in the remote. There were no blankets other than the top blanket on the bed -- very lightweight. I did borrow a blanket from the front desk to use a pillow since there were no pillows in my room and none were available at the front desks or in the hotel.

I checked in and they gave me a room on the 3rd floor. Went to the room and it was dirty- food garbage, bed unmade, towels on the bathroom floor. Went to change rooms but staff was not surprised in the complaint. Second room had one bath towel one hand towel- no wash cloth or bath mat. Only one pillow with a dirty pillowcase for 2 beds. Toilet seat was also broken. Elevator in disrepair. Staff had to run up to the other floors to unstick the elevator. The staff was so dismissive with the complaint about the room condition and elevator, I left and went to another hotel. I have never done that before but I did not feel safe staying the night.

There were no blankets on the bed when we checked in and one pillow per double bed. For a room with 4 people, we had 1 towel and when we asked about it, front desk told us "sorry, we're low on supplies" the floor in our room was sticky and dirty.
