Extremely Disappointed
I had an extremely disappointing experience with this hotel. We stayed here the night of our wedding as we had an early morning flight the next morning. While packing up in the morning, my wife forgot her necklace (a wedding gift from her sister she just received that morning!) on the nightstand. We called that evening and told them exactly where the necklace was. The lady let us know that staff had already left and she wasn’t sure if the room had been cleaned yet or not and she would reach out the following day to let us know. No call back. I called again the following day and was put on hold for 15 minutes and no one came back to the phone. I called again the following day and was told once again I would be called back…no call back. Finally, I called again and expressed my frustration about no one getting back to me. I’m writing this review as no one from the hotel has yet to reach back out and give me any sort of update. I was told on the initial call that nothing was logged in the lost and found even after letting them know exactly where the necklace was.
It’s frustrating and unprofessional that something that was left behind by a guest wouldn’t be returned. What is even more frustrating is the lack of care and communication from the team. Marriott should be ashamed. Needless to say, I will not be staying there again nor would I recommend this hotel to anyone else.
