Surprisingly spacious and nice suite in the heart of Berlin. Mandala Suites was actually a bit less expensive than competing, smaller rooms in what you might call "traditional" hotels, but it also had more to offer since it's primarily designed for extended stays on business trips.
The upstairs lounge where breakfast is served has a great view of the Berlin skyline, which was fun to enjoy in the morning! They also have a neat app/website that automate some of the functions of the hotel, including requesting items, checkout procedures, general information, etc. (You can also use it to unlock the building/your room in the event you lose your keycard.) The rooms are located in what is otherwise a commercial building, so it's generally very quiet, but the whole place is pretty up-to-date, and our room was very well maintained. Air conditioning also beats anything else we saw on our trip in Germany and can cool the room down to 18C with no trouble.
There's also a Hacker-Pschorr restaurant on the first floor (not affiliated with the hotel), and while it's kinda kitschy, it's open most of the day and the food is pretty good. Nice to have as an option after an international flight when many restaurants don't serve until 6:00pm!
If you're planning on staying a while and want more room to stretch out, we found it to be a very good deal. We'll probably check them out again if we return to Berlin.
