I had hoped it would make things a bit easier for me if I stayed in the same hotel as the big 2 day event I was a part of. However, this was not the case.
Upon speaking to 3 different people, all of whom were pleasant & helpful in guiding me with how to have a smooth check-in, given I had special circumstances which needed extra attention. When the day finally came to check in, I followed the instructions I was given by those I spoke to, & was met with a completely different story & rudeness by the staff member working that day.
I ended up having to speak to the manager to have things dealt with. After finally checking in, I proceeded to go up to the room, only to find the fridge not working, the one thing I needed the most, along with the phone. The fridge was also a cube, so tiny.
The cleaning staff & maintenance personnel were kind & helpful in getting things fixed up. From here, I thought, things should be good, & for the most part, they were. Until check out.
The room itself was cleaned & organized. The beds were comfortable, & my sleep was decent. No issues.
It was upon check out that I was again met with the same rude & unpleasant person who reminded me just how much I wished I had stayed in a different place.
Overall, the room was pleasant, a typical hotel room. The bed was surprisingly more comfortable than I thought, which was a plus. I didn't try their breakfast, as I have allergies & didn't want to take the risk. The price was also high for what you get.
