Hotel Trad is a good hotel if you are looking for something that is reasonable and reasonable walk to most of the sites. It is not near the train station but the bus stop is only a 3 minute walk. If I were to return to Fukuoka I would probably find a hotel that was closer to Hakata mall or Tenjin shopping district and closer to the train stations.

The showers smelled of mold and the carpets were so dirty. The amenities like shampoo, hand soap etc… were almost empty. The breakfast was great though, it was a good benefit with the hotel. The parking behind the hotel was also great. The fact I could leave and come back as needed was also really great.

Should be the best for dollar near by. Center of the Fukuoka. And free shuttle to the station. It can't be wrong. My next stay in Fukuoka. We tried a few others but this is the best for the buck so far. The rest are either too small or old.

Disappointed at being given a low floor room close to the coin laundry area hence noisy throughout the stay. The room was dated and slightly dirty but spacious by Japan's standards. Hotel provides a good range of amenities and is very close to Canal City.

Major issue was the noise - poor noise insulation means that I had very poor sleep due to incessantly noisy neighbours, and the vent in my room was producing some weird sound throughout the night that's not due to controls from my room. Besides the noise, the hotel is highly recommended - spacious room, good amenities, helpful staff, walkable to Canal City Hakata, a bus stop nearby.
