I arrived to check in at the hotel to discover that the air conditioning was broken, to which I was asked 'is this okay?'. I didn't have much choice at that point as I was checking in later in the evening. It was stated that 'you can open the windows', well that's all well and good, but you are then exposed to the street noise, which due to the admittedly excellent location of this hotel, was significant. So it was a choice of being comfortable or quiet. Not ideal and I think shameful of the hotel not to contact guests at the earliest opportunity, prior to check-in, to inform them of this and offer a refund should that not be suitable. Very poor customer service in this regard.
Pros:
-Excellent location
-Comfortable Bed
-Breakfast is very good
-Very clean hotel and room
Cons:
-Customer service was sub-optimal
-The room had significant wear/tear
-Poor value for money
This experience would certainly stop me staying at this location again, and likely the entire radisson brand. When you're paying that sort of money, you have a lot of choice.
