This location is going down in family history as Hotel Hell.
-Apparently this is a favorite hotel of assorted baseball teams. A large group with gym bags darted in front of us to check in and the manager spent half an hour going over their plans with them, followed by two days of rude, loud people and adult men who flirted creepily with my 16yo whenever she left the room alone
-Several staff members were awful to us, including a manager who developed a rather personal vendetta against me.
-Fire alarms went off both nights of our stay at 1:30 for close to two hours. By the second night we just packed up and left and called hotels.com for a refund.
-We paid for two beds and did not get them. We were repeatedly denied any compensation by the hotel manager who stated this was because he personally disliked me.
-My daughter was hassled by desk staff for taking a luggage cart into the parking lot to unload the car. When asked why he had done this, the staffer first said my daughter was lying, then admitted he had done exactly that. Then the manager interrupted to tell him that I’m “rude” so…it’s ok to hassle my kids?
-Staff repeatedly addressed me as “ma’am,” after being told not to. I am a man. I am not a woman. It was really nasty and inappropriate.
-This is not a Home2, it’s a barely refurbed Comfort Inn. Higher CC hold than Home2s, smaller rooms, insufficient kitchenware that is simply left in the dishwashers.
-Just. Hotel Hell.
