2 night Oct break
Nice top floor room with balcony at this small B&B of maybe 5/6 rooms. Overlooking the historical centre and down to the sea on the left. Great for access to the centre for shops and restaurants or down the steps to the beaches. Claudia super helpful , plenty of breakfast options. In the limited traffic area so had to park 400mtr away but quiet in Oct so no issues. Would stay again.

We loved our stay here, it was perfect. Claudia was kind, attentive and incredibly helpful. My room was even better than I expected with incredible views. Note, there are stairs to contend with and you can’t drive up to the hotel, I anticipated all of this. Also incredibly helpful was Franca, who helped me months before when booking an extra night. Plus, there was always a home made addition to breakfast that Franca made. Breakfast was simple but plenty and not lacking for us. Definitely would come back and recommend !

Outstanding location-right across from the steps to the beach and a great view! Claudia was amazing with answering questions and she makes a fantastic cappuccino! I highly recommend this hotel. Pack light as there are a lot of stairs in the hotel.

Exceptional
The room was exceptional. King bed, comfortable, beautiful pillows, right at the foot of the stairs to go down to the beach. Breakfast was great. Claudia, was so helpful and attentive. She brought out heavy luggage up all the stairs. Enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back again to Il Duca.

Loved this place its wonderful. Location and views are perfect. Our one gripe is the fan comes on with the bathroom light and it is annoyingly noisy. Its just a small point in an otherwise wonderful place. Claudia was ever so helpful at check-in and during our stay. She even prepared some food for us because we had to leave on our final day before breakfast.

We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend! Located at the top of the stairs to the beach and easy access to all the restaurants and shops as they are all walkable. No car needed as we took the train and simply walked to the property. Nice breakfast each day. The rooms were clean, large, and we selected one with a balcony that has sea views.

La struttura è situata nel pieno centro di Tropea: questo permette di avere accesso al centro storico ed alla marina in maniera facile e velocissima. Il personale è gentilissimo è sempre disponibile. Fantastica struttura panoramica nel cuore di Tropea. Il check-in è avvenuto tramite una gentile e cortese ragazza dello staff. La camera è molto accogliente, dotata di un letto comodissimo e di un bagno con una doccia comoda e confortevole. Il balcone vanta una vista eccezionale sul mare, sul santuario e su una delle vie principali di Tropea. Consiglio il ristorante dei proprietari, nei pressi del duomo.

Stayed for 2 nights and really enjoyed ourselves. Claudia was wonderful. Room was clean, spacious and had a balcony with a great view. Even though we were in the centre of town, once the balcony door was closed it was completely quiet. Excellent location for the beach and restaurants. Be prepared for many stairs to and from the beach.

Lovely B and B, great view, very clean, lovely lady running accom. Great breakfast. The only thing to comsider is the steps up to the accommodation floor. But its worth it.

Fantastic location. At the top of the steps to the beach. Great to see the sea from the balcony area. Steep steps up to the rooms but worth it. Quite and comfortable. An excellent breakfast, the best so far this trip.

tolle Unterkunft und modern und hochwertig ausgestattet. Leckeres Frühstück mit selbst gebackenen Kuchen und der Möglichkeit nach individuellen Wünschen. Die Lage ist ein Traum und man bekommt reichlich Tipps und Unterstützung für Ausflüge vor Ort. Wirklich ganz toll! Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder

An old building in the heart of Tropea, with modern facilities. Our room had a balcony offering a fantastic view of the sea and the streets below. Claudia, our hostess, was wonderful. I recommend this property.
