Steps from Piazza San Marco and an easy walk to everything. Room was beautifully appointed. If we had done more than sleep in the room the condition of the tired armchairs might have mattered, but they had been made to look nice. Nice size ensuite with good size shower. The hotel is beautiful and could not be in a better location. We had a 2 bedroom suite with a balcony looking at St Marks and absolutely loved our rooms. The hotel also set up our transportation to and from the airport which was so convenient. The only complaints I have is breakfast was less then desirable and the the noise outside of the hotel is loud (I know they donโ€™t control the noise but just be forewarned there is a bar below and you will hear loud noises/talking to early hours in the morning)

I had a great room with a king bed. A sitting area. A bathroom with tub and sink and a seperate room with toilet and sink. The balcony view was amazing! I will try to post photos. The breakfast was great. The staff was very kind and helpful. I would love to stay there again!

The location of the property is unbeatable at the center of venice. The room was clean and the staff was very professional. The hotel has no view unlike what is advertised neither of the canal nor of the basilica. For the hefty price you could find a better view in town

Great location close to everything

The hotel location is fantastic. It is a short walk across St. Marks square from the boat to the hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is close to restaurants, attractions, and an easy walk anywhere. The rooms are small. As are most rooms in Venice. If you like firm beds you will love it. It was our only not-perfect mark.

Excellent Hotel, but not for disabled persons.

This hotel is one of the best I was. Great location(just by the San Marco Plaza). tons of restaurants and gift shops. The breakfast is rich and tasty, and the rooms are clean. The staff are helpful, and will do the best they can if something goes wrong. But there are some draw backs, so pay attention: - Like all Venice with it's steps and bridges everywhere, it is not welcoming disable persons, So, to get to the front desk, you must use 14 steps, but the front desk will help with bringing the luggage up. there is a small elevator from the front desk to the upper rooms, but again there are steps all over the floors. - There are no electric outlets by the bad, but they got us a long cord to accommodate our needs. - The mattress are some firm for whom who like them soft. (Please don't get scared from other reviews)

I highly do not recommend this hotel. Do not waste your time and money on this hotel. It is Listed as a 4 star hotel, but it is really no more than a 2 star or less hotel. Our Suite with the balcony, over looking Saint Markโ€™s Square, the Air Conditioning did not work. The suite was HOT. The AC fan on high blew very little air and the air was not cold or cool. I Complained at the front desk, they insisted that the AC worked perfectly in our suite and basically did nothing. We booked the suite for 4 nights. I could not get one of them to come to the room to prove me right and then wrong. We said something to house keeping and they gave us a floor fan and a table top fan to use. NOT what you would expect from a so called 4 Star Hotel at an average of $500 a night suite. Still nothing from the front desk. The front desk staff were very rude and smiled at you as they told their lies to your face. It was very clear, they did not care was not concerned. We had to keep the curtains closed to try to block out some of the outside heat. The suite had two bathrooms and both were not vented and did not have an AC vents. They were both as HOT as sauna, both day and night. The last night my wife picked up a bottled water bottle in the bathroom to rinse her mouth, thinking it was hers, it was the maidโ€™s and it was Bleach and not water used for cleaning, Lucky she did not swallow it. It look like the bottled water container that my wife used. I complained to the front desk
