Stayed in the Newark DE location, and was not impressed with the property. Property was listed on Hotels.com and was hopeful for a comfortable stop over point on my trip from Virginia to Maine.
For 150 dollars, on the arrival, property was dank and grungy. Property had an overwhelming mildew smell and did not sit well with my wife or I. Halls were dimly lit, and the lighting was dismal at best.
When we got checked in, we noted the bathroom sink did not drain, as well the fridge had not been defrosted in quite a long time.
I also noted that the walls in our room had numerous spots of drywall repair, and were not fixed appropriately.
I mentioned this all to the desk clerk on our check out, while I can not be sure, but it was apparent that he either did not care, or he was powerless to do anything.
