Good Experience
We enjoyed our stay. Jose checked us in. He was great. Front desk staff should be trained or at least be knowledgeable about how the safe works. Telling a guest to wait on the engineer that arrives at 12 when you are on a tight itinerary just doesn't seem logical. The battery was low after we used the safe and we couldn’t reopen it. After reading the information and learning to use it, I spoke to the lady at registration hoping it would help the next person. It seemed to fall on deaf ears. It would take 30 seconds to explain over the phone, had she known how to do it. This is a very important feature when out of town guests come and do not want to carry their whole wallet while walking around a new area. Parking took us an hour to find a place that was free and not 2 miles away from the hotel. They do have paid spots. 2 of those spots are handicap spots. They rent those as well. They cannot be used if you have a tag or placard, I asked. I didn't remove any stars for parking, as I knew it may be a walk before staying there. The room was nice. The floor could have been cleaner. We moved a trash can, and it was nasty under it. Dirt, food crumbs and something had been spilt. The bed was great and the pillows were amazing. Breakfast was good. Eggs, fruit, oatmeal packs, beagles, yogurt, granola, cereal, coffee, juice, water, milk, and hot chocolate. There wasn't always a meat option but we had turkey sausage and sausage links. We would stay again but rethink parking.
