Cozy family owned old school motel. Clean and quiet for a night or few nights. Staff is friendly and willing to help out with any necessities that you may need. Nicely lit property at night making it inviting and a sence of safety. Definitely will be back next time im in town.

A night near the lake

The owner was prompt to contact us after a reservation was made to let us know about an issue with the TV. The shower was hot, the bed soft and cozy, the closet large and the fridge cute, so I had all my needs met.

This property is an absolute disaster. I would not recommend it to anyone. The area is unsafe the rooms smell and are very dirty. I did not even stay because it was that bad. no one is on duty. There is a phone number to call but there’s nothing you can do to fix a horrible room.

Convenient to many birding spots. Good WiFi and microwave and fridge work well. Parking outside your door is great. Nice view of the lake. Hot water never failed. AC kept things cool.

I had a very nice stay. I'm a little biased as it was my 3r stay there in five years (Coviid stopped two of the years). The staff there has always been very friendly and helpful on pointing out good places to eat or see that are not part of the "touristy" spots. Many of my neighbors took advantage of the cool, lightly breezy weather in the evenings to, sit in the chairs and/or tables out in front of the rooms, to enjoy drinks or snacks.

We enjoyed the stay. It was very basic, comfy bed, fridge, microwave, towels etc. had everything we needed. It was all just a bit old and shabby. It was clean but didn't look it because it was so old. View of the lake from the window was a nice touch. It was a very peaceful, quiet location. Ideal for a stopover on a longer trip. Was ok for somewhere just to lay your head. It was safe and private. Good area for picnics by the lake.
