Tip the staff and they will take care of your every need. The room service is on point and the rooms come with a room service credit. Doesn't hurt that they also give you free tickets to the MOMA. The location is fantastic, and the staff were incredibly attentive, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay.
We stayed in a King Deluxe Room, which was very spacious with a comfortable king-size bed and a sofa. Our daughter, who studies at a nearby university, visited and stayed over one night. "The location was great. We were upgraded to the PH which I appreciated because it was a bit larger than the standard room. Older hotels in NYC are small. None of the ice machines on the floors worked. bar prices were very high but we got a coupon for a free drink in the library only which was great."
