The best place to stay in the Scottish Highlands.
Our stay at Netherton Guest House was amazing. We loved the quaint and beautiful atmosphere of the place. The rooms were spacious with the most comfortable bed of our entire vacation. It had beautiful antique furniture, was extremely clean and very quiet. It also had a spectacular view from our windows. The breakfast was exceptional and I really enjoyed Romay the proprietor.

Hidden gem. Well worth a visit. Inverness and Dingwall only minutes away but out in the countryside with fantastic views. Charming host and plenty of choices for breakfast. Quiet and secluded, within walking distance of the Culbokie Inn where there's an excellent menu and local beers. Highly recommended.

Couthy and comfortable. Host is welcoming and the dogs are extremely well behaved and friendly. Room was spacious and so was the rest of the accommodation. Quiet area, so good sleep. Great views and in walking distance of the pub which offers good food and drink at a very reasonable price. Breakfast choices were wide and impressive. Great value for the money and I would highly recommend Netherton.

Great place
Fantastic place to say with fabulous views over the Cromarty. Really quirky house but full of character and exceedingly clean. Tea and coffee facilities, separate quiet room with ample books etc, secure parking and a thoroughly quiet and relaxing place to stay. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Lovely Scottish Experience
Very lovely quiet country setting overlooking Cromarty Firth. The hostess was very welcoming and made us feel at home as she showed us our room which was clean, neat and comfortable. We had the full Scottish breakfast both days we were there and it was superb! More than enough food, tea, and coffee to set you up for the day. She gave us recommendations for dinner spots and other sites to see. We had lovely chats and we felt more like company than B&B guests. We highly recommend staying here and we plan to again.

Driving into the property we weren’t sire but once inside, we were smitten. Romy (the host) was so accommodating and friendly. The house is impeccable and so quaint. Lots of area for guests to congregate and have entertainment. This was one of the best stays in all of Scotland.

What a great experience and home base for the majority of our Highlands tour! The property was peaceful and absolutely beautiful overlooking Cromarty Firth. Our hostess provided a delicious breakfast each morning where we got to know her as well as other guests while sharing a meal together. The friendly dogs made it feel like home as I was missing my dog while away on holiday. Thank you for welcoming us into your home and making us feel like family while we were there! Wonderful memories made!

We stayed 3 nights and left longing for much more. The most comfortable bed I have slept on throughout our UK trip, gorgeous views and sunset. Fast, reliable internet. Very cosy and quiet while still being close to many interesting attractions. Romay is an amazing host and cares for every detail, it really felt like home in the farmhouse. Delicious breakfast!
