This hotel was fantastic. We loved it. Food was wonderful and they were very accommodating with our food allergies and vegetarianism. The owner is lovely too. Only complaint is that even with a fan the rooms are very warm, but that seems to be the case in all the hotels here.

Excellent service, staff accommodating of our dietary requirements (Vegetarian). We were also greeted by the owner Frideric - very friendly and very involved. His active involvement also motivates the staff it appears. Well appointed rooms. The only issue was with design of the bathrooms - our room had a large tub with a shower but no shower curtains so water would spray out everywhere. We will definitely go back here. Conveniently located. We highly recommend this hotel.

Truly exceptional service from reception staff. Beautiful, rustic property. We had a cloudy night, but would have been the perfect spot to view the Northern Lights had they been visible. I visited on a family trip and the hotel staff were responsive and helped to book all our excursions through the hotel in Iceland.
