Serious issues here
Tried contacting these for over a week, both me and hotels.com and no responses from them at all to answer any of my concerns. I recommend before booking here that people list reviews by date before booking as its scary reading, especially for anyone with asthma or god forbid children with it!

On Arrival i pulled into the car park which had damaged walls and a dirty outlook did not look like the photo. Went inside and met a woman at the door who booked me in and then told me my room was on the 3rd Floor I explained that i had a problem with the stairs and no lift available so i was put in a twinned bed room on the First floor i then asked about Breakfast in the morning to be told we are not doing Breakfast and i asked where the bar was and there was no bar the whole building looked very tired and run down. Not value for money

All concerns given to staff when we left. First room had a leak when reoprted staff. They said would not even know what to do about that and i had to ask if they had another room. Furniture damaged and dated, old worn carpet room 307. Second room 107 had large whole in wall by window. Window was dirty, water mark above window sugesting leaks in this room before, carpert stained and old also cut rogethet. Bathroom door got stuck when opened on floor. And flooring around toilet was cut incorrectly so did not even meet at the toilet. Multilp wires around window area loose and taped up with electical tape. No remotes to tv in either room was told they had been stolen and no solution other than could possibly get a universal one from long term resident. Wifi password did not work by this time had enough of going to get things sorted. Also went to make a tea and milk (even though in date) went lumpy in the cup so had to throw away. Whole building and decor dated and worn. Even out side facade has started to fall off with a chunk already off. Would not return and would not recommend to anyone in its current state.

4/10 Fair

We booked this hotel as a family weekend away. The hotel appears nice from the outside but once in decor is dated. The floors in the corridors weren’t level and felt like you were drunk or in crazy house at a fun fair. The door hinges to our room were knackered so you had to lift the door into place to close it, once locked it had about 2 inches of play (looked like it had been kicked in by the police a couple of times). The wallpaper was coming off the walls in several places, drawers were broken and wonky. Freezing cold drafts were coming in from Gaps under the door and holes in the ceilings which had to be plugged with towels. TV didn’t work, couldn’t close windows. Only as we were leaving did we notice stains on the kids beds valances that looked like splash back from someone being sick and the hadn't washed them. Even though breakfast was listed, they had closed their kitchen for ‘repairs’ so we had to go else were. Not their fault but was kept awake by a drink couple having a domestic argument in a nearby room. Would I go here again?? No.

Excellent stay
Lovely hotel, very comfortable for me and my 2 children. Loved it that I didn't have to share a bed with the kids. Food was delicious and hot and set us up for the day. Tram stop right outside hotel and not far to walk to Pleasure Beach, Sandcastle or South Pier.

So welcoming and caring
Its a lovely hotel that needs a few touches to bring it back to perfect however everything is clean and comfortable. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming, happy for a chat and genuinely care about their guests. Had breakfast from the hotel while qe were there and even that was well thought out. All in all very much enjoyed our time away.
