Highly recommend this stay

We had a great stay at Cielo Maya. Located right on the beach with a pier and some hammocks. Also has a pool and some swinging chairs. Breakfast was included and great considering all the options. Rooms are a little dated without any USB ports but otherwise clean and very comfortable for the price. We were also able to rent a car directly from the hotel which was a great benefit and helped us a lot with day trips to other Mayan ruins and a beautiful lagoon. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a great stay on a reasonable budget.

Property is beautiful and right on private beach, it is some distance away from all the caos, you will need a taxi/ car if you want to explore, the hotel is on a rocky street but still safe. The architecture of the hotel is unique, excellent exterior design. The room is really spacious, with interesting interior design, large bathroom with both a shower and jacuzzi tub and all the necessities needed for after the shower. Plenty of towels, no need to bring your own for the beach. The restaurant food was really good and the staff very helpful. Very clean in and out of the room. The property has its own beach with chairs, bean bags and kayaks. I would gladly go there again. The only negative I have is about the area around, the road to the hotel is very narrow, bumpy and there was a construction work in the neighboring property with quite some noise during the day.
