Fabulous old world experience
Our family (2 adults and 2 kids) stayed in one of the private rooms, which were cosy, comfortable and clean. We loved the feel of the hostel, with pretty gardens and spaces to linger in, feeling like we'd stepped back in time. It was very quiet when we stayed with few other guests, although the restaurant filled up at dinner time (great food!). The Naramachi area nearby was fantastic to wander through and it was easy to get to the bus or just walk to some of the sights of Nara.

Authentic stay in Japanese hostel
Happy with everything. Staff were excellent. Really enjoyed our stay with 5 and 1 year old kids. Park 50m away was a hidden bonus!! Walls paper thin in bedroom was only down side. Other guests not so polite to keep noise down in the adjoining room at night. Otherwise so great! Would visit again!

Good hostel in Nara
It was a good place to stay one night in Nara. The staff was great and helpful. The room was not very comfortable, but for one night was ok. It is also what I expected from a hoste. Good spanish restaurant one block from the hostel, good and cheap wine.

First I felt this guesthouse it is truly antique. you can feel real what Japanese house is.
staffs can speak English and they are very kind. I think this is the best geusthouse I ever stayed...truly antique and real Japanese house...!! baammmmm! I Highly Recommend!!!!
