Nags head is a great place if you like the beach, it can be a little crowded this time of year. A lot of good places to eat and T shirt shops. Try calhoons deli if you get hungry.

Nags head was the perfect location for seeing the outerbanks, pretty centrally located to most activities and can get to each end of the island within an hour.

I like Nags Head! I've been coming here since the mid 80s. There are a lot of good restaurants to eat. Cahoons Grocery is a nice little local grocery about a block away, has clothes, beach and fishing items and they make sandwiches to order.

We did 3 excursions through Kitty Hawk Kites. All good. No bad restaurants. As stated by a local, "Most restaurants out here are not chains. So if they made it through covid without going under they have good food."

The town is super cute, all the properties with different colors makes it special. The beach though has very cold water (last week of june) and the waves were very strong, we couldn't go inside the water, very strong wings also.

We go there at least twice a year. Beach is beautiful but plenty to do in the fall as well.
"Very nice place with plenty of amenities in the unit. Could have used a little firmer pillow but was manageable. Breakfast was good for what it is. Would definitely stay there again. "
"The location was perfect, and the view from our room was lovely. It had everything we needed. The price was great for an in-season rental we only needed for one night. We also appreciated getting access and WiFi info ahead of time."
"Hidden gem! Quiet, clean, rooms are very spacious and all open to the beachfront, great outdoor lounging at your backdoor, we had a very pleasurable experience! "
"It was right on the beach. The staff called me to ask what time I would be there and went out of their way to text me instructions on how to get into my room since I was coming after hours. It was an amazing location. If I had to complain about anything, it would be how small the shower is. Other than that. Great place. Great staff. "
"Pet friendly property, beach access close by/walking distance, staff was friendly, I would definitely go back. The only thing I didn’t like was that not all the rooms had a full size fridge/ some had mini fridges so it’s harder to manage when you have a longer stay. Our stay was wonderful overall! "
"Staff was friendly and the room was as described or better. Keep in mind this is an older facility, however appears to be maintained and upgraded much nicer than others in the area I have stayed at recently. I would definitely stay again."
