Great and Quiet Centrally-Located Hotel
This is the second time I've stayed at Urban Alley, and it was just as great as the first time. I really like that it's in a quiet but nice alley off a major road. It's easy walking distance to Hoan Kiem Lake as well as many great restaurants and cafes. The breakfast was super tasty and the staff very kind. Also maybe one of my favorite things about this hotel is the furniture in the room is all solid wood with wood flooring. It feels warm and inviting.

Bath room need attention . The bath curtain has mold. This should be replaced. It is just cost a few dollars. Bath towels are very old and should be replaced. It seem like the owner of the hotel is not doing a good job at keeping the hotel looked attractive for sustaining business for a long time.

In a nice alley but there are loud disco music 50 ft away from hotel Hotel need major renovation and in breakfast time. Is not buffet style but order off menu One feel like Oliver if you try to order item “May I had some more sir” They are not please to accommodate for order more Bathroom and window are dirty. Got off to a rough beginning--air conditioner did not work in our room, and they had no other rooms with two beds. However, the staff was very good, found us a room with a good air conditioner and put in an extra bed. It was comfortable enough that we did not change rooms even when they had a standard double-bed room.

The staff were very friendly and professional. The day before we left, they arranged a private car ride for us back to the airport. I don’t know how we would have flagged a taxi down in the street so that was very nice! The hotel room was very spacious and very clean. It almost looked like a room inside a person’s home. There was plenty of consistent hot water for us for showering, and they provided all the amenities we needed. The hotel is located on a smaller street so it is quiet at night, which is perfect for light sleepers. Another perk is that it’s still walking distance to the center of Old Town where all the stores and restaurants are! Just the perfect location! Overall, I think this place is a great bargain for those of you who are looking for a place to stay in Hanoi! We will definitely stay here on our next visit to Hanoi!
