Fantastic location
The lobby, the room, the corridors, the lift were all very clean but there were a few cigarette buts on the balcony. I could not access the Internet in my room but it worked very well in the lobby where there is plenty of space to sit comfortably at one of the small tables. Television didn't work in my room either. Apparently this was a temporary problem because the channels had to be readjusted and further work needed to be done. Location is superb, in a cute square with a water feature, flowers, cafés and restaurants. Close to the centre of town, to the Eurostar terminal and multi-ethnic shops.

Awful but cheap
This hotel was extremely cheap for the centre of Brussels and I'm afraid it shows. The phrase 'you only get what you pay for' has never been more true. The rooms were very dirty, and the noise from locals staying in the hotel was crazy. There is no air conditioning in the room so if you're planning on staying in the summer months then I would strongly reconsider. The room was less than £50 a night so if you're not bothered about cleanliness and noise level then this room maybe for you. I would highly recommend staying at easy hotel in Brussels which is a very similar price however the stay is much more comfortable and clean. In summary I should of spent more on my hotel.

In the period when hotel have decent price like this February, hotel is vary good for staying fey days. I like that square - close enough to Gare du Midi but fare away from crowd around station. Clean room, decent breakfast and beverages machine in lobby area for refreshment handy if come late in the evening.

Door was broken. Shower head broken. On checking in we were told they couldn’t get into our room as their system was down. Ended up waiting for a good hour. Eventually we were given the wrong room

The property is 15-20 minutes from the centre which is a plus but this is really the only selling point of the property. It has a very hostel vibe going on and the rooms and sub standard with a very dirty look to them. Bed linen was not clean and the room was less than basic. There was a lot of non guests just sitting at the reception that were very intimidating each time you were coming or going. I suppose in comparison to other places we were looking at it was quite cheap so perhaps you get what you pay for. If you are going to Brussels to relax and enjoy a bit of hotel time I would not recommend this place but if you are on a short trip and this is just a means of somewhere to sleep it is not the worst.

Not very clean. There was a bug on my pillow. Room was freezing cold. Very expensive for what it actually is. Staying in a hostel would’ve been better.

Do not book here.
I have stayed in numerous hotels and this is the worst I have ever stayed in. There was a punch hole in the bathroom door. The bed was hard as a rock. The curtain was half a curtain so you couldn't pull it closed to cover the light coming in. We were put next door to the loudest group of people and the second we said we weren't happy with the room the guy on reception didn't even act surprised. Didn't bother to see another room as was the run down state of everything except the reception you could tell it wasn't going to get any better. Wasn't offered a refund or even the room charge paid upon arrival repaid. We were there for all of ten minutes and that was too long. They need to spend less money on making their reception look great and actually spend some on the rooms themself.

My Stay: 12th to 15th December 2019
This was a clean, convenient and comfortable hotel situated near La Gare Du Midi providing me with easy access to my trains to and from Brussels. The staff were friendly and professional. The room was clean and comfortable with en-suite shower. Would definitely recommend this to anyone interested. Great stay!

Great location--super easy walk from Midi train station (where you catch the high speed train to Paris and Amsterdam) and easy walk into town. There was also a metro stop near by. Cantillon Brewery is just a couple minutes walk away, too. Room was modern and pretty spacious for budget accommodations.

2/10 Poor

Must to avoid, unless desperate. While nominally clean and civil, the property is very shabby, carpets, curtains torn, walls chipped. The room had an odd, disagreeable odor the whole time, the lights by the bed did not function independently of the room light, no safe, no glassware (plastic cups encased in plastic are a disgrace), no way to make coffee, etc. etc. The location is convenient and little street noise, which is a plus. Interior walls very thin, thankfully relatively quiet neighbors, but could only imagine...........

The room that they gave us has a broken door to the balcony. It cannot be locked. First they sent a repair person to check the door. That guy insisted that the door is good. Then I said let us try it. After he locked the door, I stood in the balcony and pushed the door open easily. Then he said nobody will come into this room. But, why do we need a lock for all the rooms? It doesn’t make any sense! I asked them to change a room for us, but the guy at the front desk said the hotel was full and refused my request. I stood firm and didn’t give in. After a few minutes, four guests came in and saved me. I said if you have rooms for those guys, you should give it to me first because I came first. Finally the guy changed the room for me. They have the room available actually! But they just don’t want to give you. They are really tough and bad. The hotel is located in a bad neighborhood, dirty and unsafe. We were warned not to hold the phone on our hand while walking on the street in case somebody robbed it. Many things in the room are damaged, for example, the door to the bathroom cannot be closed. When you bath, the water came out and flooded the bathroom. No night stand at all. The room is very narrow and old.
