Hotel was nice and clean. Had the basic accommodation.. you get what you pay for. They have coffee in the morning for their guests. Was there for the weekend. Had a nice stay. Would definitely recommend it.

Maintenance needed
Amazing service but had to wake up in the middle of the night to a flooded sink, we had to get up and empty dirty sandy ocean water with cups into shower so it would not keep overflowing into the carpet…not a well rested night

Great service from Nancy!! Otherwise the view is terrible and room is cramped. The fire escape outside the window makes it feel unsafe.

4/10 Fair

The hotel was rundown and outdated. The worst part hands down was no A/C. There was a heat wave last weekend making us uncomfortably hot with no relief. You’ve been warned. I would walk past other hotels and feel the A/C from the sidewalk then walk to my sauna of a motel all bummed wishing I was at the other hotels. I have stayed at modest accommodations and loved it but this was not the case at this motel. The screens on the windows of our 3rd floor room. were not secured. My kid could’ve fallen out if he pushed on it. I’m convinced a midget built the place. The shower head was low and the railing of the 3rd floor balcony of the common area was like 3 feet high. I’ve never seen a balcony railing that that low, it went up to my thigh. My toddler could’ve easily gotten over and fallen 3 stories. Pretty sure it wasn’t up to code. Clearly the owners spend no money on upkeep. AND NO AIR-CONDITIONING in 95 degree weather.

Noisy. Doable otherwise.
The bed was comfortable and everything worked fine, thankfully. However, the walls are very thin and I was woken up by a phone conversation in the next room in the early morning. You can also hear golf carts passing but that was less of an issue. The water in the vending machine is overpriced and they don’t provide beach towels. I saw some trash on the floor under the cabinetry in my room. The location is pretty close to the ferry and to places in town which was a plus. The hotel though a little run down does have some vintage-y charm.

Very close to all but not the cleanest or updated
The location was great. It is close to downtown and you could walk anywhere. The room itself was very small. We had a bungalow (cottage A) and it was very small. The vents were very dusty. The doors would stick. The shower had some serious high pressure. (I liked it but the rest of my family did not) We found a sock from the people that stayed in the room prior. The window screens were broken and not intact. The ceiling fan would turn on and off at night randomly as well as the light that goes with the ceiling fan. The office staff were very nice and helpful. We checked in after 8pm and called the phone number on the front door and within 3-5 minutes, the office staff check in employee was there and happy to help.

Bummer in the Basement
When we arrived they did not have our reservation and that really seemed to annoy the lovely lady whose pancakes we were interrupting. As a result we were put in a terrible room UNDER the hotel with a delightful view of the vending machine and apparently a great place for other tenants to talk about their lives at 7 am. Not the room i requested from the app. In the future i strongly recommend screenshoting that stuff. Dont get me wrong, i love crummy experiences but this was a huge disappointment.

Bad
The TV didn’t work and when I asked to move they said it was a problem on the whole island but I saw TVs working on the island after. They still never offered to fix the TV. Also had a really bad bug problem in our room.

Our room was a bit run down and my wife saw a roach. Otherwise, it was good. The breakfast was minimalist, the balcony and massage chairs were excellent.
