I was assigned a room where the air conditioning wasn't cooling the room ever after leaving it on for a long time. The windows of the room could not be opened, so I went down to the front desk to tell them of the problem. They sent a technician up to look at it. He came to "fix" it. I waited another 30 mins and the room just never cooled, it's so warm that I'm unable to sleep.
I had to go down again to tell them of the problem. I suggested that they change my room, but the receptionist says there are no available rooms, and he will send the technician up again. The technician turns up in my room with a fan. Not only did it not help, since the windows cannot be opened, it just ended up blowing warm air and the fan was extremely loud and noisy. I had to go down to the front desk for the third time and told him I cant sleep and I need a place to sleep. Finally, he gave me another room to sleep, but he says its for me to sleep for the night and the next day I have to go back to my original room.
Next morning, I had to repeat the story to the new staff at the front desk and as usual, they said they will send a technician up to fix it. Even the new staff refused to change my room. After I have gone out for the day, I returned in the afternoon, only to find out that the air conditioner is still not functioning.
For the 5th time, I had to tell them about the issue, and it is only now that they finally relented and gave me a new room.
