This was my fourth time stay at this property. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and the hotel is clean and comfortable and accessible to metro.

Perfect place to stay in an ideal location! It’s on a quiet corner a block from Galata Tower (and about 1000 places selling San Sebastián cheesecake). It’s about 2/3 of the way up in elevation between Karakoy and Taxim, making it a good starting point for exploration. Staff was friendly and helpful, always there to give advice on destinations, places to eat, getting around, or just to provide a cup of coffee. Simay in particular was great! The room was comfortable and clean, bigger than expected, really a junior suite with kitchenette, sitting area and bed in a separate nook, and a much larger bathroom than I usually expect in a boutique hotel. There’s not many amenities other than coffee and tea in the lobby, but everything you may need is within a block or two. Will definitely stay again next time we’re in Istanbul!

I cannot say enough good things about this property. It’s right by the Galata tower. As soon as you get out, you are in the main spot. Surrounded by restaurants, cafes and a 10 min walk to the Galata bridge. We got a room on the 4th floor and it was surprisingly quiet for the location we were in, this place made our Turkey trip. Also, the staff is super friendly and helpful. If I ever visit Istanbul again this will be the place I stay.

Excellent stay. Owner and staff are super helpful and friendly. Make you feel at home. Give lots of advise and always readily available 24/7. If I could give more stars I would. Tufan, the manager, is an incredible host. He ensured everything was managed perfectly, from our pre-arrival arrangements to our departure. His team was equally impressive, with Ezgi, Oguljan, and Simay all going above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Tufan and his team handled every detail impeccably: the room, check-in process, cleaning, and providing excellent recommendations for places to visit, shop, and even things to avoid. We stayed in the tower suite, which was fantastic with a massive balcony and a great room. Louis appartement is well located in the nice area of Galata right by the tower. It’s nice and clean, the whole hotel and the rooms are very enjoyable and the lobby / reception very welcoming. I would give 6 stars to the staff if I could. We were welcomed on our first night with traditional tea and coffee and a lot of tips to visit. The team gave me so many advices and suggestion for food this helped me a lot I didn’t have to worry about it. Ezgi, Simay and Oğuljan were very kind and every single restaurants they suggested were excellent especially Guney and Il Cortile. Tufan the owner was very helpful as well. I have travelled to many cities and this was by far one of the best hotel staff. Definitely recommend it !

Your home in Istanbul
The apartment is located in close proximity to Galata Tower, very cosy and comfortable, clean and warm. Despite the touristy place, it is quiet enough. There are basic kitchen utensils: kettle, coffee machine, cooker, fridge. There is a MigrosJet nearby and other shops with fresh food in case you would like to cook. Very comfortable bed and quality linen. Nice is attention to detail, such as the availability of umbrellas. The reception desk is working, the staff are always very warmly welcoming and were in touch via email and whatsapp before arrival. This is also where you can make coffee and leave your luggage after check out. Close to Galata bridge, Istiklal and public transport (10-15 minutes), but instead of walking uphill from the bridge I would recommend taking the funicular as the height difference is noticeable. What could be improved - the lighting is adequate and quiet, but I prefer brighter one. There is a coffee machine in the apartment but capsules seem to be included in the minibar, although a few a day could be offered to guests at no extra cost. Didn't feel like leaving. If we get the chance to visit Istanbul again, we will definitely stay here.
