Perfect stay with walkability to Michigan stadium and downtown shops and restaurants. Seemed like a safe area with CVS a block over for provisions. Excellent communication. Clean, modern, with comfy bed and pillows and quiet stay on 3rd floor. Platform bed was nostalgic and fun. Loved having full size fridge in kitchen and living room and powder room downstairs. Enjoyed visiting briefly with others staying there. Never stayed in a shared property like this but would do it again and would stay here again. Loud train nearby but only heard around 10 and maybe 11 at night. Needed more towels than supplied for multi night stay. Agree with other reviews about females staying here alone. Security concerns. Only one lock on room door and one night we came in late and front door to the townhome was left wide open by someone. Auto closing front door would solve this issue.

Directions and parking instructions (to their on-site, underground parking garage) were accurate. Texting with the owner of apartment unit was efficient and responsive. Unit was small - as sq footage reflected - but was very clean, and was perfect for our in-and-out one night stay for a football game. I asked if early check in was available as we arrived 3 hours before 4pm check-in. I was told yes, but for a $35 fee. Was disappointed that the room was available and clean, but had to pay to access it to drop off our bags. Felt the hospitality aspect of that was lacking, where you wouldn’t get that response at a “normal” hotel. Definitely would stay here again - if we weren’t planning on spending any time in the room, and were planning on being out and about enjoying Ann Arbor the entire time.

We booked two rooms for our trip. Our rooms were booked by the host in separate buildings...far from each other. Both of the rooms we were given were not cleaned upon our arrival, which was well after the check in time. It took a while to get new rooms. I had to go out of my way to suggest that our rooms, which were booked together, were in the same building. The rooms were nice. I will say that I didn't feel very safe as a women staying on this property. There isn't much protecting you from strangers. The room doors have deadbolts but with no employees onsite I didn't feel as safe. The rooms were very clean and as expected. You can hear everything going on in the rooms above you. So, if you are a light sleeper this may not be your best option. It was nice having onsite parking in a secure garage. It would have been nicer if we were able to access the garage by one of the other doors closer to our assigned building, rather than having to navigate all the way back to the garage door itself. The garage door is closest to building 1-5...if you are staying the the other higher number buildings you will need to lug your luggage a long way. I'd stay here with a group. I would not stay here alone as a woman for safety reasons. You are better off at a hotel.

Hello there are three different pieces of information that you should know about the property: 1if you like hair on your bathroom toilet seat, this place will be great 2-if you like your tv not working, this place is also really great 3- the AC is community controlled so you will not have control about how cold your unit is

The property is very clean and affordable, however, I would caution any women thinking about staying there by themselves. It is a shared living space with private bed and bathrooms. The issue is that there is only the keypad locking the bedroom door. No deadbolt or other security features. And it is just you and the other renter(s) there. No desk person, etc.
