Just spent one night here on our way back home out of Bari. Location is on the borderline of being slightly shady but just two blocks up and you are in the main shopping area. Friendly staff, spacious rooms (for Europe!), and a well maintained building. The AC was very efficient unlike other 5 star properties in Italy. I was pleasantly surprised!

This is small modern hotel a short distance from train station. The hotel was spotless and staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included which was simple and ok for me. The bedroom I had was at back of hotel and had a balcony and no traffic noise. The bedroom was very comfortable and had aircon which was great as very hot weather.

The hotel is conveniently situated a few blocks from the train station, making it easy to travel to near-by towns by Trenitalia. The neighborhood is lackluster and seems to be inhabited by many immigrants. We always felt safe, although the streets are poorly cleaned and maintained. The hotel itself is updated beautifully with good-sized rooms and stylish bathrooms. Cleaning service was daily. We heard no noise from adjacent rooms or from the street. All the staff were very nice and very friendly. The breakfast buffet was adequate but nothing special. The main issues for me were the small, slow elevator and the lack of HOT water. We showered in warmish water each morning, but never had really good hot water from the bath shower heads. For the price, Hotel Moderna was a fairly good option for our first visit to Bari.

A gem of a hotel so close to the train station and a short walk to the main attractions in Bari. The staff really make the hotel a place you want to return to, so friendly and knowledgable. - 24hr Front Desk, which is very helpful and as a solo traveller, it made me feel safe and cared for. If anything is wrong, you only have to ask. I stayed in a Deluxe room (both stays), which had a terrace balcony. No pretty view, but quite nice to sit, take a drink and read, between exploring. The room was spacious, I found the two sinks helpful (one in room & one in Bathroom), the mini-Fridge had complimentary water and hot drinks tray was well stocked. The onsite bar in the foyer is reasonably priced, well stocked, with comfortable seating. The breakfast was a nice, with freshly baked items and continental selection. I liked that they had small teapots for your tea. Would definitely return if in Bari again.

The room was great, centrally located to easily walk to the train, and town center. The front desk staff were super helpful, especially Deborah. She provided us with train schedules and recommendations throughout our stay. The beds are a bit hard, but extra pillow/blankets helped. Nice breakfast every day, especially the bruschetta.

Good stay in a recently refurbished hotel I had a good stay at Hotel Medona in Pula. The hotel has clearly been recently refurbished and is in excellent condition. Everything felt fresh, modern and well maintained, which made for a very pleasant stay. The staff were another highlight. Everyone I encountered was friendly, welcoming and very helpful, which made the experience even more enjoyable. There were a couple of minor downsides. I found the bed to be quite hard, so unfortunately I didn’t have the best night’s sleep. The breakfast was also fairly basic, although there was enough to start the day and it was perfectly adequate. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and felt the hotel offered a comfortable and pleasant experience. With a slightly softer bed and a little more variety at breakfast, it would be even better.

Älteres mittelgroßes Hotel in einer belebten Straße, Nähe Bahnhof, in die Altstadt 15 Minuten zu Fuß. Kürzlich komplett renoviert, alles sehr sauber und gepflegt. Zimmer nach hinten mit Blick auf das italienische Leben, aber sehr ruhig. AC leise, extra Waschbecken, USB-Anschlüsse, Kaffeemaschine, kostenlose Minibar mit Wasser. Frühstück für italienische Verhältnisse reichhaltig, uns hat es gefallen, gerne wieder.
