Well located on the main highway and close to shopping and restaurants. Property seems to be brand new and rooms were well equipped - even with a surprise fridge not listed in the amenities. A “middle of the road” hot breakfast was offered and staff was friendly and helpful. Great 3 night stay while attending a ceremony at Pax River Naval Air Station.

The only issue i had was my toilet was clogged. I called downstairs and asked could someone come and fix the issue. The receptionist had said it might be a while and if I wanted to ckme get the plunger and unclog it myself. I laughed and said NO. I just checked in and used the bathroom, I had no issues with waiting. Not even 5 mins later someone was there to fix the problem. Other than that and no swimming pool, this is a nice stay. Close to everything you need in California.

Rachel at the front desk was awesome! Accommodating and very pleasant upon check in! Lobby, room and outside VERY clean AND all new ( just opened 10/31/25). Free breakfast, carts available for luggage. No fridge or microwave in room but one in the lobby for guest use along with plates, cups and utensils. Would stay again for sure!

My son and I stayed at Avid for two of three nights, the event we attended was stopped because of storms. The hotel is extremely clean, quiet. The staff was great. They were polite, and answered all our questions. We didn’t eat a full breakfast because we left early to get a good parking atvthe race event we arrended, but it looked good. We wished there was a far leas a smalk fridge. We will definitely stay there again. Thanks Avid.

Asked for an early check in at 130 was told no problem got there still couldn’t get into room until 2 Why ask for 130 if you couldn’t accommodate my request. Was almost late for a wedding we came for. Very lazy housekeeping supervisor the other staff was great. Room was ok not super clean. Stained bed linen was definitely a bad look. Will not stay there in the future. Stay at your own risk.
