Overall great experience! Only complaint was that the room has some peeling wallpaper and wear in one area of the room. There was also a random used toothpick in the rug that we stepped on… Slightly disappointing when paying for a premium room experience. Great view and great location!

So lets start with the very minor negative stuff.. The instructions and signposting on the property to find the entrance sucks. The entrance is located at the entrance to the restaurant and gets a little lost in all that is happening in the area! That is the negative, and the only negative I found. The Good. EVERYTHING. The shower is amazing, the bed is good, the view outstanding. The cleaniness was amazing. Easy access to the restaurants!

The property was great, the room was awesome! The "Stay One Chicago" is really just a name on paper, and maybe one employee who is physically at the property. I am pretty sure that he wasn't even directly employed by the "hotel". So in a nutshell, the organization has not worked out any kind of structure for checking in other than the guy that told us to download the Door, OR the Latch app. He said that the app is very difficult to get logged into. Long story made short, we wasted the 1st 2 hours in the hotel trying to get the app (both my wife and I). The app never worked, and we finally got physical key cards from the guy working for the building. There was one small piece of paper with scan codes for restaurants, but zero property maps, rules, room cleaning, and nothing explaining how to get to, or use any of the amenities. It was the worst 1st 3 hours of a vacation that we have experienced. I still gave it a 4-star because the local people were so nice and helpful, even though helping us wasn't part of their job. The valet guys were the best, super nice, and helpful.

There is no staff and the entire property is controlled by an app. If the power goes out, as it did while I was there, you won't be able to access the property without assistance from the building concierge. My room was not well cleaned. Fake eyelash on the bathroom floor, dirty coffee table. For the price, it's not worth it. Just stay somewhere with actual staff who can address problems promptly.

Check in was a little stressful without having access to the doors to come and go and having to be escorted by the vibrant , apologetic , professional and amazing Mr. Shawn. This hotel was amazing ! The esthetics , the modern feel, the smell gives nothing short of luxury ! Mr. Anthony and Ms. Melanie did an amazing job. The location is in walking distance of everything you need from working out , shopping , fine dining or everyday eatery’s. The staff is amazing. This will be my reset , staycation hotel moving forward ! I would highly recommend! Thank you for this amazing stay !

Room and the view were amazing — I’ll start there. Unfortunately, getting access to the unit was a major inconvenience. I booked through Hotels.com, and the correct email wasn’t provided for the keypad/digital key system. Because of that, I had to go back and forth to the residence front desk several times to get new keys — and even the physical keys they issued didn’t work. Thankfully, Elizabeth from the residence team stepped in, contacted the hotel directly, and updated my email so I could access the digital key. Once that was sorted out, everything went smoothly and the stay itself was very enjoyable. Housekeeping also did a great job throughout my stay.

This property was advertised as a hotel but it is run like an airbnb. You have to have a code to enter the elevator and floor of the rooms before you arrive, which unfortunately I did not know. There is a note that says there is staff at a different property to assist, but that staff is for the residency and not the hotel. We were only given two towels for three people and the safe in the room was broken upon arrival. When I advised the attendant at the other property, he told me there is nothing he can do about it and the only way to get assistance is to email the hotel. This is again an airbnb model, not hotel. On our last day, someone dropped a full coffee in the elevator, and there isn't anyone there to clean it up and we couldn't tell anyone because again, there is no assistance on site. The pool required an app or registration and there is no information on how or where to access the pool, you are left on your own to navigate two elevators and Lifetime staff. For the first two days, the Lifetime employees were not very helpful. Luckily on the last day, we had two very nice people who made checking-in easy. We were looking for a hotel and I wish I knew in advance that this property was run like an airbnb. The rooms are clean and spacious but I would not book it again, even though we were compensated for our issues.
