If you're not dependant on room service, pool or a huge all you can eat buffet but just happy with clean sheets, hot water and air conditioning in a small quiet hostel in a very good location Enles is the perfect choice. The public beach is just around the corner, less than a minute by foot. Central Durres is also within walking distance, 15-20 minutes. Bus and taxi station 3 minutes away. A lot of restaurants, bars and cafes nearby. Free parking for those of you who dare take on the local traffic by yourselves. The outside of the property is currently a bit messy. The owners are opening a small supermarket in the ground floor. By the looks of it it should be opening within a few weeks. Should I revisit Durres I would probably choose Enles again.

I did have some difficulty finding this small Hotel, my local driver was confused as well. Once located next to the supermarket I was very happy staying here. My room was comfortable, and I slept well in the bed and linen. The bathroom was open in the Balkan style, but a good size and very clean. Small bar fridge provided and quiet air conditioning. The location is just metres off the promenade along the main beach. At the port end of the beach, it was very easy to walk into the CBD/Amphitheatre area, as well as just lounge along the nice wide beach. There are 100s of restaurants to choose from in the summer, and lots of areas along the beachfront rent lounges/umbrellas. I thought it was very fair value for the cost given positioning, but if you are a 5 star person then perhaps keep looking further down the beach. I will be happy to return next year.
