This is a very charming place, From the nice man on the second floor across the road to the super sweet home attendants who worked woth is on our broken Portuguese. Unfortunately, from the outside you don't get a sense of the beauty and quality of the facility, which is a shame because once you enter, both the common area and the rooms are spacious, bright, clean and well appointed. Positive aspects: good breakfast, welcome bottle of water in the room, cozy common area, close to the Rede Expressos station and transportation to the main monuments and downtown, which are a half-hour walk away anyway. Negative aspects: not being able to leave luggage in storage, no elevator and the staircase is a bit narrow, only one towel and one bath sheet for two people

The inside of the hotel was good, clean and spacious for a family of 4 although there seemed to be mold on the bathroom ceiling. We arrived at 3pm and there wasn’t anyone at reception (although it said that there would be someone until 6). Instructions to self check in were easy to follow and the breakfast was good. A convenient small property for one night.
