I discovered that Lori was a truly great host when I phoned, immediately after I made my booking, and she picked up. I had booked the wrong night! She fixed my mistake instantly and eagerly. (The Hotels.com site would not allow this.) Very grateful to her for being so accommodating and flexible. The place is nicely situated on the lakeshore with views of the distant islands and the Mackinac Bridge. Would definitely stay again.

Beachcomber was a great choice. Wonderful view from our room, access to the beach and great swimming. Bonfire in the evening was a great surprise. Laurie, the manager, was very helpful with suggestions on places to eat, activities on Mackinac Island and how to save money.

Waking up to the gentle waves and watching the ferries glide by was the highlight of our trip. We could walk to the Mackinac Island ferry terminal in minutes, and downtown dining and attractions were just a short stroll away. It's the perfect base for exploring everything northern Michigan has to offer. Whether you're here for a romantic getaway, a family adventure, or a peaceful escape, the Beachcomber delivers.
