Es ist einfach wunderbar dort. Die Zimmer sind groß und sauber. Der Ausblick Weltklasse. Und vor allem verwöhnen Daniel und Brian ihre Gäste mit sehr leckerem Essen und guten Getränken. Man fühlt sich fast wie zu Hause.

Es war unglaublich! Wir hatten noch nie so etwas erlebt... Daniel und Brian sind sehr nette Gastgeber und führen ihre Lodge mit Leidenschaft. Daniel ist ausserdem ein talentierter Koch und bewirtet seine Gäste jeden Morgen mit leckerem Frühstück, kocht aber auch abends 3-Gänge Menüs. Da abends alle gemeinsam essen, ergibt sich eine sehr familiäre und intime Stimmung, was wir sehr genossen haben. Die anderen Gäste waren ebenfalls toll und wir hatten gute Gespräche. Auch die selbstgemixten Cocktails sind lecker.

I had a wonderful fun 3 days here .Dan and Brian are great hosts , with Dan being an exceptional chef . I highly recommend having there evening meal even though it’s served a little late for me it was worth it .The lodge is very clean and my room was huge with an upstairs bedroom and bathroom ,stairs are steep ! As the lodge is all wood the down stairs was dark with a small balcony so not really used! Yoga mats provided for self practice. I loved the location with a little walk up to the lodge .

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour chez Daniel et Brian. Très bien placé, au calme, et facilement accessible en bateau. Daniel nous a organisé les tours à partir du lodge, très appréciable. De la piscine nous avons pu admirer un paresseux…quel souvenir ! Cerise sur le gâteau, Daniel est un excellent chef, sa cuisine est remarquable! Et que dire du petit déjeuner et des cocktails de Brian…

My stay at the Lodge at Punta Rica was one of the most enjoyable and relaxing vacations I have ever had. Nestled on a hilltop on Bastimentos Island and overlooking the Caribbean Sea, the lodge was a peaceful haven of tranquility, beauty, and relaxation—exactly what I needed after a hectic and stressful season of life. The hotel staff met me at the airport and transported me by boat to Bastimentos Island, a short 20-minute ride from Bocas del Toro Isla Colón. Brian and Dan, the owners of the lodge, were hospitable and accommodating in every way. Brian, a professionally trained chef, prepared meals that were scrumptious, healthy, and beautifully presented. The desserts were especially delicious and decadent; the chocolate donuts and chocolate mousse were the best I have ever had. Every meal at the lodge was locally sourced and prepared with love and careful attention to detail. The room I stayed in was spacious, nicely furnished, and conveniently located near the pool. Although the rooms do not have air conditioning, the fans kept the space comfortable. There are also no televisions on the property, which allowed me to focus on the natural beauty of the lodge, decompress, and disconnect from the noise of the outside world.

Outstanding! The lodge is beautiful and the owners are super friendly. You feel very welcome and it's very informal. Nice conversations, games evenings together or delicious dinners are just as much a part of the experience as the exceptionally clean and tastefully furnished rooms and facilities! It doesn't get any better than this! Love to you <3
