Good, but some downsides
The hotel in itself is very good, the rooms are clean and comfortable. The position is ideal to explore Osaka and there’s a conbini right next to it. We were in a triple room and there was enough room for us and the luggage. The bathroom was a standard size. I love that the tap water is drinkable, so you can just fill up your water bottle. Now the downsides. Frankly, for what we paid I expected it not to be an issue to book a taxi or something for the airport. The guy was very kind and professional, but basically said “we don’t do that, there are many taxis in the street”. That was a first for me, ever! The other thing is that it’s very noisy until about 12:30am due to where it us - I’m talking music and such. It’s obviously not the hotel’s fault but worth pointing out. After that time it’s just “city noise” and easy to sleep - I recommend trying to get a room at a higher floor though if you need to get to bed early.

Better place to stay for this location
Water leaked out of the sink faucet and tub so bad we requested to change rooms. We planned to move the beds so to sleep more comfortably but there was a bunch of dust and fallen items that was never vacuumed we moved the beds back so we wouldn't have to walk on the floor. Room was minimal: beds, bathroom, refrigerator, hot water pot, not much more... Dryer never dried our clothes after spending countless hours and 100 yen coins to dry. Front staff was very helpful and courteous. Good location near Dotonburi and Shinsaibashi but a little concerning at night, rough neighborhood

Washer and dryer was horrible and a rip off. Washer dryer combo states 500 yen but it’s took 500 more due to malfunction and staff didn’t believe that it malfunctioned so staff not accommodating at all. If you use the washer/dryer take a video to prove inaccuracies of the machines to the staff. Huge roaches in the room and staff unwilling to look for better alternative, even if you are willing to pay out of pocket more. Location is central to Dotombori though.

Very active nightlife, hungover club goers were still on the street just outside the hotel at 5 AM. Street was littered with trash and cigarette butts. Very noisy. be sure to get a room on a high floor if you need to sleep. No chairs or place to rest in the lobby. Staff explained that it was because non-hotel guests would occupy them.

Located deep in the heart of the crazy Dotonbori district with a very short walk to the famous sign and bridge. That ends the positive portion of the review. The entire hotel smells like 50 years of cigarette smoke, even though it is a “non-smoking” hotel. The rooms are Motel 6 quality with no amenities or services of any kind. No ice, no water and the staff is borderline hostile. Bed was extremely uncomfortable, 2 total pillows provided, and the AC made lots of strange noises. The bathroom was like they put a bathroom from a train in it with a nice little 4 inch step over that you will stub your tow on during your uncomfortable stay. Worst part, no secure luggage storage. If you check out or arrive early and want to store your bags they leave them in an unlocked room int the lobby, fully visible to anyone that happens in the hotel. Only stay at this hotel if you plan on getting totally drunk at the local bars and pass out without having to walk far.
