HIPPA VIOLATION - Ill-trained Management
My service dog and I stay at extended stay Bartlesville, ok several times a month throughout the year. Everytime we check in, I am haggled by the General Manager and Staff about the exact nature of services my dog provides. HIPPA violation.
Upon departure this am,11/19/24 @ 9am, the general manager emerged from a corner office abruptly and advanced my position. At that point, my service dog stepped between he and I as she is trained to do. She smelled his hand as she is trained to do.
He immediately claimed my dog but him and said my dog will be banned from the hotel.
He did not file a police report, get medical treatment or could he show any evidence of his allegations... Not even nose moisture.
My inabilities should not be worsned by ill-trained management, who decide to sit in an office away from the main desk during checkout times.
Second, my dog has never bitten anyone, was appropriately leashed and under complete control.
The manager entered a space less than 4' wide, aggressively, between my service animal and myself. Uncalled for behavior at 9 am in the morning.
