Short break in Willamette Valley
Lovely small boutique hotel surrounded by vineyards — awesome views!!! Inn had warm atmosphere - nicely furnished. Outdoor areas have nice fire pits and views. Breakfast was super yummy — but no dinner was offered the 3 nights we stayed. Gym is small with no windows — but plenty of great hikes nearby. Rooms comfortable but be prepared for zero drawers or cupboard space for clothes — there is a hanging rack but that is it!!! A bit odd that no one at front desk after 6 pm — door to Inn unlocked and was a bit worried about security.

One of the most beautiful accommodations I've ever stayed in. Our room looked out over the Dundee Hills where we experienced the most stunning sunrises. On clear days, you can see Mount Hood and Mount Jefferson-- wow. Acres of vines. They have the sweetest livestock. A few goats and chickens that are so fun to visit after a long day of wine tasting. But don't feed the goats lol. But do give them rubs on their little heads and noses, they're so sweet. Breakfast in the morning is 5 star quality. The staff is attentive and kind, they remember your name and are eager to help in any way they can. My now husband and I went to get married out there and we hope to be back soon. Maybe make it an annual anniversary trip? 10/10 Would recommend.

Wonderful stay w breathtaking views
The inn was absolutely beautiful and was warmly greater with a welcome drink, breakfast had a good variety and was tasty. Bonus surprise is our first night stay overlapped with the launch of Four Graces winery opening on site. Parking was easy, checkin/out was a breeze, great location, and very comfortable beds.

Best Hotel I’ve been to
The Black Walnut was an amazing place to say and we cannot recommend it more. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we had the best stay possible. The views are amazing and unlike any place I’ve stayed before. They booked us for a complimentary visit at a winery while waiting to check in. The tasting dinner was amazing and such a treat. Breakfast was incredible. We got it on our patio one morning. Can’t say enough good things about this place. It is a can’t miss for your trip to the Willamette Valley.

Gorgeous property! We booked a last minute fare for a small discount and had a wonderful time. We had the afternoon wine tasting session and lunch (not included) with Charlotte and Peter all to ourselves, and they treated us like royalty. Many other places would have canceled instead of having only two guests for a whole seating. We had a wonderful time, and the views were amazing. The breakfast (included) was also fantastic. Note that the uphill property is under construction for an expansion that they told us would be completed in May 2024. We heard nothing during our weekend visit but I imagine it could get loud during weekdays. Their future plans sound amazing, and I look forward to visiting again.
