We stayed 2 nights. It’s a very beautiful old villa. We would come back. Service wasn't great. But they tried hard. One only was able to speak English. Transportation information was only minimal, had to figure out the details our self. Don’t ask the stuff questions about Venice. They seem not to be prepared well for Venice tourists. They are probably making most of their business with weddings and Italian guests. When you figure it out, the bus connection to Venice is great. Hotel price was very good. Hotel is a very old villa. Was very nice too sleep in an old historic house. Beautiful garden/park. Breakfast was lots of sweet stuff, if you want something different, let them know, they will try to organize it for the next morning. If you want to eat out, there are two places nearby, but no one there speaks any English. Trust me, I mean “NO” English. We had 7 waiters standing around our boy to try to understand him. After a while one came to rescue us. He was able to talk very good German.
@hotel … prepare some information on paper for your guests who are visiting Venice. How to ride the bus, costs times, ferry option. How to get around in Venice. You will make your guests happier.
